  • Welcome to another video of HookingJuzza!
    In this video, I touch on why I started the RUclips channel. I also speak about bronze bream as a species, how they grow and mature, where to find them, and what bait to use for them. I also show you 2 different traces I use for them, and also a quick joining knot I use on the rocks.
    If you want to skip the intro and dive right into the action, forward to 4:51, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
    At the end of the video, I show another unconventional way of frying fish, enjoy!

    Top stuff as always bru👌👍 they have definitely become one of my favourite fish to target💯 when I have the money for a nice holiday I think I must come down to fish lol" ohya and thats very cheap for swivels.. here in durban the prices shot up on all fishing tackle" and its totally fine.. they work perfect fishing for bronze bream because you loose alot of tackle fishing in the bricks" I was thinking.. maybe take another heavier setup and put out a crab or something and leave it on a rod stand for a cracker or poensi" u blessed to stay where you can target all those awesome fish almost any time!! Ohya gost crab also works well for the big bronze bream.. just break it up and put it on garlin style

    • @hookingjuzza
      @hookingjuzza  3 года назад +1

      Thanks so much Zubair! Glad you enjoyed the video!
      I definitely don't fish with crab often enough, and both red crab and ghost crab is very accessible almost all over here!
      I'll give it a go soon💪🏼

      @ZubairKhan-jd5op 3 года назад

      @@hookingjuzza top stuff bru" for the cracker must put the red crab or gost crab whole so the smaller fish dont just peck on them especially the gost crab because its softer" even red bait and mussels works well for crackers and bronze bream" but try breaking or cutting with a scissor the gost crab legs off the body then break them apart at the joints, use the pieces that joind to the body (the thighs and calfs) trow away sharp toes" pin from the smaller pieces (calfs) to the bigger pieces (thighs) on the hook and pull up the line, thats why we call it garlin🙈.. then take the shell off the crab and cut the body into 2 or 4 quarters depending on the the size of the crab" pin on 1 or 2 pieces of body" generally using half a crab a time for bronze bream.. u can use abit of cotton if you trowing far with some force to keep the body pieces on" but trust me you get some massive bronze bream on gost crab but crackers, galjoen, wilderperd, stumpnose, pompano, grunter and other species dont leave it they pull it also👍

    One point, in my opinion you must always eat the fish the day you catch it. Theres a few reasons

    Great catch and good message for the conservation of the environment. Next time use olive oil instead of butter ;-) . Greetings from Italy

    • @hookingjuzza
      @hookingjuzza  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for the comment!
      It goes without mentioning that you're Italian with that olive oil comment😉😂 I love to use olive oil, but the smoke point is pretty low, which is not great, but will work around that and try it in the future! Thanks!

    • @gonimysh
      @gonimysh 3 года назад

      @@hookingjuzza actually is exactly the contrary. The extra virgin olive oil has a smoke point around 210 C degrees, fresh butter 130 C degrees because it contains more water and french butter around 175 C degrees because it does not contain water 😉

    how much kgs was that

    • @hookingjuzza
      @hookingjuzza  3 года назад

      According to the length/weight conversion its about 4.8kg, but I would have estimated it to be around 5.5kg, it was really thick/fat, also confirmed by another eye-witness, but the beauty is that I will never know 😂
