I had an European yellow-tailed scorpion back in middle school. My father's cousin lives in southern France and there used to be a lot of these near his house. We came to see him with my father for summer vacations and the last day, when we were getting ready to go home, I found this guy near my father's car. I asked if I could take it home, and my father agreed. Now my parents are divorced and I was supposed to go back to my mother, and she wasn't quite pleased to learn that her son just found himself a new friend. An eight legged friend with venom. But it was too late, and I was a bit too sharp for her to throw it out without me noticing anything. Besides, since I had no enclosure for him, I made a pathetic one using a plastic candy box, in which I pierced holes for air. Every day I would catch some fire bugs in the garden and feed it to Scorp (yeah, look, I didn't think a lot about his name), and he had a small water bowl. Very basic, I know.
I kept him like that until my next birthday. My father's family was quite supportive of the whole pet scorpion thing, not that they liked it, but they knew I loved it. My aunt got me a proper enclosure, a water spray to humidify it, and crickets to feed it. My father got me a book about scorpion in captivity. With Scorp living until now in a candy box, I was able to take him with me when I was spending vacations or the week-end at my father's place, so I moved him in his new enclosure. I fed him before going to sleep, and then woke up at 3am because of the noises he made while he was active. Good times. But then, a few months afterwards, he died. My father forgot to humidify his enclosure. That, or he died of old age.
I feel like I'm going to get a second one at some point, now that I'm a "responsible" adult.
As I understand, Buthicus occidentalis the species you described has a pretty potent venom.

Those are some cool pets!I have a turtle that we got before I was born and my sister wanted the small turtles a man was selling and she named it star!she still with us to this day :)

When I was little my mom gave me a spider, (a jumping spider to be exact) and when I tried to feed it the first time I left the tank completely open and it jumped out and into my backpack. And that’s how I managed to breed 8 jumping spiders in my backpack without knowing.

I actually have Sea Monkeys now as an Adult, I was figuring out what to do with a spare Gumball machine that always jammed and by pure chance a friend had asked me about raising them (had tons of tanks as a kid) and a Video popped up in my feed so idea was set to make it into a tank.
I too would love a Shark, never went Saltwater but have had all sorts of fish over the years and shrimp, otherwise its been an assortment of Rodents, an insane Budgie and 2 dogs, the current one being asleep next to me as I type.
I do hope to have another Bird in the future, maybe something like a Lory aka the same type as Gumi the red Birb but who knows what the future holds.

I currently have a Betta Fish. If you want a fish, get a betta. They are low maintenance, fairly cheap, and entertaining to feed. I only have a small tank and a plastic jar of food pellets, and i just give him one or two a day. And bettas aren't like goldfish. They strike at their food. I named mine Indigo, because that's what color he is. And one time, he attempted (and failed) to grab a fly off of the edge of his tank.
I once collected 2 pantry bugs,
then treated them as pets,
and named them "pantry" and "buggie".

If I had to pick one pet, that would be a Wolf.
You should get a corn snake: not need to much space, and eat once a week (the adults), and you can handling them too (if you tame them of course), and can live for 25 years or more. (plus point: they have so cute face while they small :) ). I have two, and I love them Johny, and Mira... :) :)

I just wanted to mention that is absolutely insane. Did you realize that your scorpion is one out of the few specimens able to fertilize it's own eggs without a male, meaning Sonic could have continuously had babies every season on her own until her death.

Actually that's not completely correct scorpions do indeed need a males sperm sac in order to make children as they cannot produce the sperms required to fertilize itself and thus make children

you should get a bearded dragon, they love to cuddle and aren't very picky, with your roach farm now they would eat it all, and if you get a Fancy Bearded Dragon they can live up to 15-20 years. (and they don't bite)

I have two pets but i vividly remember this one story
It was around easter and i was walking outside when i hear a faint meow so i was like "okay that was weird" and i heard it from the crawl space under the house, so me and my sister sent our brother under the crawl space to see if there was a cat, while me and my sister are making bets on if our brother would get bit by a snake he said "GET THE CRATE" and we found a little orange cat who we named "Simba" (after the youtuber unspeakables cat, Simba) and we took care of him for a few weeks but then my mom wanted to show our neighbor Simba and he went under the crawl space and got lost, we plan on getting our cat another cat and name it Simba the second

Actually, my first pet was not a ordinary pet. It was thousands of mealworms that I would feed every day right before and after school I will feed them carrots and I will play with him. It was really fun and I saw they had to release him because I wanted a hamster, but now my hamster sadly passed away.

when I was like 5 I found a daddy long legs in my backyard and I got it and put it in a bin with some rocks and holes in the lid and left it on the backyard table. surprisingly we kept it alive for like a week
When I was a little kid I really wanted to have a pet but couldn't because I'm allergic to everything with fur and feathers. So my parents got me Tadpole Shrimp. They were cool and could do some tricks with a flashlight, but (as said in the video) they stank. Unfortunately, only 2 specimens grew and the others remained larvae. Then the larvae became larger than the adults and there were fewer animals every day. Yep, the Tadpole Shrimp started to feed themselves based on cannibalism. They were then flushed down the toilet afterwards.

I always wanted an owl as a pet (mostly due to Harry Potter). At first i just tought that they generaly dont do well with humans but.... Im pretty sure they're just racist. @@DaMrWiz my fear of bugs is also kind of an inconvenience to me since bugs are everywhere here in Florida. I'd rather not be bothered by them than to flail around trying to swat away some random bug in fear.
You could get crickets that are in cans which are not live and dust them with nutrution powder instead of live crickets
We got the trees in 4th grade, I planted mine and just kinda left it alone in the backyard, it's now 10ft tall.
