Pontiff Sulyvahn had a whole training arc to get stronger to try and get back at Ongbal, but it was all in vain.
apparently even the ultimate training technique (going on estrogen) wasn't enough
Sadly Pontiff failed to truly understand the power of Lord Ongbal.
Bro did all his canonical DS3 shit, got mogged, went to Ashina to learn under Isshin for Convergence, got mogged again, and now transitioned, joined the Carian Royal Family and Messmer, still to get mogged again.
Now we wait for Shadow of the Erdtree Convergence where they bring back their ghost, only to get mogged again

Fromsoft giving Ogbal the ability to parry was always going to result in some wild beatdowns. I just didn’t think it would happen this quickly
He did Mesmer first. Maybe that's why he took longer. Many people, including me, have been able to do Rellana's no hit since she is first.

@@salutations6370 it should be a guard counter which is in base game, but that's just judging from the sound. Usually even when you guard with a shield you still take chip damage so it might be the effect of a talisman

Rellana was so spiteful she got perfect’d that she tried to ruin his youtube video before she perished. Ongbal is built different tho so he was locked in even after the final attack

He already has a fog gate. You know how it's mentioned that the lands between is "across the fog", the entirety of the lands between is Ongbal's boss arena.
The fog gates aren't for entering boss arenas, it's for ongbal to exit his boss arena

PVP fucking sucks and it's a completly different skill.
And a completly different game. All your precise tricks aren't worth shit if you can't know the exact latency, where your ghost is and stuff. Player vs Npc Invader is so much better then pvp. Though they don't have a stance bar or advanced openings so it doesn't play like bosses. But at least some skills carry over.

I figured it out after 4 tries at 100lv playing cat and mouse with a Glinstone Krist and thats the worst build but i wanted to poggo on people, I believe in you!

I've been trying to beat this boss for 3 days, using summons and spirit ashes...at the same damn time 😆.

Beat her with mimic with upgraded dragon rot breath, erdtree heal, and flame cleanse me,
Then bullgoat set and fingerprint greatshield. Block first then let mimic rot her, then when twin moon knight attacks my mimic, i rot her. Repeat.
I thought this will work against Bayle. Bayle said no. A big effing NO.
Keep your distance and let her exhaust her combos, getting an attack on only when they’re done.
I one shot her with a shadow mage build and Dung Eater. It was close, though. The surprise moon drop only barely failed to end me because I already happened to be at full health.
Summon buffs her health pool, better to just stick with the mimic.
The way you dodged the moonlight flurry is insane. Jumping the first horizontal so the follow up horizontal misses. Super cool.
I can't wait to see how you no hit the final boss!

Weapon drop is bugged. We got the shield instead and it seems the normal soldiers don't drop the weapon. 😭
yeap. i have been maining this weapon in the DLC. just guard counters all night and it has high stagger too.

Inspiring, at 2:23 I lost it. I tired to beat her solo but ended up summoning mimic tear. Wish there was some way to challenge these bosses again and again like we do in Sekiro.
