Correct. SJSU has traditionally been a liberal college, and has been a champion of the alphabet people, so it was just a matter of time before they let a man play in their women's sports.
The current head coach wasn't told about the trans player when he interviewed for the job.

Whoever is pushing this at San Jose State needs to be identified and investigated. This is a violation of the rights of these young women. They literally hid that the player was trans from his own teammates, and endangered every one of them in the process.
It's a money issue. These teams needed wins to keep the support of donors and had to resort to cheating.
where you get your info from? The government issues a LOT of cash to these colleges, and if they dont abide by these government mandates, they can lose funding and even be sued!
@inconnu4961 Money isn't a necessity issue. It's a greed issue. Most of these colleges are extravagent and charge huge tution, and to keep the appeal going they need winning teams backed by powerful lobby donors. That's where all this starts.
