- Famed mystery writer Agatha Christie mysteriously disappeared for well over a week in 1926 just as she was becoming more and more well-known. But what happened? Let's find out!
I wonder if she just needed to disappear for a while. I've definitely felt like doing something similar before
I know I have. Stress and trauma.
Me too!!
Sometimes trauma causes amnesia, heartbreak can cause trauma.
My money is on head trauma combined with extreme stress.
Congratulations! Your video was interesting enough, not to mention short enough, for me to watch immediately and not later. Thank you.
I never knew this. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing so well an intriguing event.
Nah, she wanted to scare her husband back into her arms again, the clue: the name she used at the hotel was that of the woman her husband was cavorting with🤫😉.
Somehow I find this story delightful. I guess a little mystery is a good thing.
Very interesting I knew she disappeared...this was well done
I can understand what mental state she would have been in if she was contemplating suicide. I can also understand why she didn't want that episode to be in her life.
I loved the film they made recently based off her mysterious disappearance.
Could you please tell me how is that movie called
@@angeliqueajamalleo7434 thank you so much
@@embassyofbellerose8344 sounds amazing, just my kind of an perfect evening and a cute actor is always a pleasant bonus ;) thank you
@@user-xc4js7dv1k I think it was simply called "Agatha". I saw it years ago.
There's another disappearance in the 1920's you could cover: The "Disappearance" of Aimee Semple McPherson
You know, it's the weirdest thing. I stumbled across that story literally only a couple of hours ago by complete chance. I will definitely have to do a video on it, but it might be a while before I can.
lovely tale! thanks;
Thank you😊
Maybe she was planning on killing her husband but decided against it.
Wow!! I feel like I’m the last person in the world to lnow about this!!!!! Omg!!!!!!
The story is as good as her books!!!!!!!
Dear lord, ease your whiteness.
Amazing
Her story is similar to that of a minister I knew. He never said it aloud, but knowing his story, he probably wanted a respite. He didn't disappear or forget the trauma, though; he became our pastor instead.
Oh grow up
1:10 theres an image of a woman on the wall.
Im saying its depression. And she was ashamed to mention it in her autobiography.
Interesting , guess we'll never know
has amnesia yet remembers her husband's mistresses name
😂🤣👍
Watch the great movie with Dustin Hoffman and ?? . "Agatha".
Good one!!
In England we have Berkshire but it's pronounced "Barksha" just like "Derby" is pronounced "Darby". It's to do with English having Germanic roots and something to do with umlauts that have vanished into history hehehe
She probably hit her head in the car accident and wandered about for a week with amnesia. BTW the photo at the beginning is a composite. She and the chair she is sitting in were placed into another photograph probably by a PR firm working for her or her agent. Long ago people in advertising realized that doing things like that makes the photo "mysterious". An early form of clickbait if you will and just as cheezy today as it was then.
There is a good dr who episode. Dont know the title, sorry.
She dissociated.
Fantastically inappropriate music!
watEver she just went out
on an 11 day Drug Binge
to Party Get Laid and unWind
then wen She was Spotted
and Fingered
the Free Fancy Bender was Over
Did they get divorced? A cool short video. Subscribed. 🪕A Shiek
Yes, and she married an archeologist and went on diggings with him, and it was a happy, long marriage.
