The fact that Tyler, The Creator was playing on the same day and I came from that festival thinking that Genesis Owusu was not only the best performance of the day or the entire festival but that I’ve ever seen. Truly a moment that I was fortunate to witness and one that didn’t just cement you as one of the best but highlighted the artistic vision you’ve always had. Only going up from here

I just know Genesis is going places and I'm proud to say that I knew him before his debut album was even released. Both times I saw him live are core memories for me and now I can't wait to see him open for Tame Impala next month, I just know it's gonna be crazyyyyyy
genny, i was at the barrier of your splendour set and it was the best part of the whole weekend. i can’t believe that in that same day i got to see some of my all time favourites - tyler the creator, liam gallagher, pond etc, but yours was just the most creative, inspiring and energy filled. i was at the sydney show where the floor collapsed and this made up for it completely. keep doing you man, you are an inspiration for many and can’t wait for the next project xx
didn’t get to see genesis at splendour 😭 but i’ve been to other concerts of his and the performance and whole experience was unlike anything i’ve ever experienced before. truly unmatched artist!

I don't comment often, just wan't to say that your work is amazing, came out of nowhere with possibly the greatest debut album of all time with some of the most energetic performances and showmanship. I saw you guys live in Perth last year and it was incredible, wish I could've seen splendour but I'm sure there will be many more tours to come. I'm excited to see what comes next!
