If it makes you feel any better. Effectively the moment the knife entered the beak and he cut, the squid was already dead. Think of it as cutting the part of your entire sensory system out in one fell swoop. That squid had to maybe endure about 2 seconds of pain before it died. Maybe even less.

I’m pretty sure once the first or second cut was done, the lil squid had died already and only had to endure pain for a sec. after that their nerves make their other limbs flop around for a bit. Let me know if I’m wrong tho
No dude, when you eat the actual tentacles, they still move. I was in korea two years ago with my mom and we went to her friends’ restuarant and I tried it. It was so sticky and it was moving. It was so wEirD!
