love the documentation tip. i got field notes going back over a decade, no way i would remeber half the stuff otherwise.
it's something I wish I had done since day 1, I had an old map I used to put notes on but it had gotten stolen 😔

I'm a solo hiker/backpacker that likes to push myself right up to my limit! Someday I hope to find some people for a group adventure
it was 20 years before I backpacked the with someone, lol. it's hard for me to find people as well.
