What a thrilling game this was. Sheldon Keefe was not kidding when he said that this game would be the toughest in their 4 game road trip. Even though the Leafs got off to a rocky start, they came back strong and eventually dominated! Also, what a memorable night for Bertuzzi. A hat trick on his special day! Keep it up Leafs!

Congrats to Bertuzi even though that name is still a little sour in Denver on his birthday he got his 100th goal along with a hatty, that's pretty amazing. bertuzzi - domi - nylander, what a line. really like tavares down on the third line. who cares how much he makes, he's on the team and if playing against easier matchups a lot of nights means he's going to continue to look strong, along with mcmann and robertson keep him there. i'm BEGGING treliving gets us someone like rasmus andersson to play with rielly. you can't split up mccabe-benoit or brodie-liljegren and lagesson absolutely CANNOT be the #2 dman. lagesson has been good, the role he plays you don't want to stand out. the less your name is said in the braodcast is arguably better, however he's a bottom pair/7th d-man on any other contending team.

Here's something I failed to understand. Just as the last seconds of the game, Tavares got hold of the puck & raced down toward the Avalache's empty net. Why on earth did he not shoot the puck. The net was wide-open..oh but he just had to make an attempt to pass the puck back. The one thing I don't like about Tavares is he's always trying to give off the impression he's making a fancy move. Always doing the extra puck-handling, etc.
Don't get me wrong, but the LEAFS team belt after the game was presented to Bertuzzi, and that makes complete sense: I just felt Samsonov was deserving.

Very impressive win by the Leafs. You can't say it was against a weak team (Blues, Ducks) or that the other team had injuries (Vegas) either. Colorado was the better team in the 1st & 3rd periods, when they get skating it is scary, but Leafs hung in there, got solid goaltending and the lethal PP took its chance when it got it. (It would've been the most Leafs thing ever though if Mackinnon scored after JT missed the empty net)
