  • This video covers basic principles for pruning and training apple trees and new strategies to improve fruit quality in modern plantings. Sunlight can move about 4 ft into a tree canopy before it becomes limiting. Strategic pruning and training create windows into tree canopies to let sunlight in. Hi there. I been to Romania before. Lovely country to say the least 💞💞 and handsome prsident (Emil Constantinescu). 😁 I was there for two months from July to September, 2001. I stayed in Iaşi. Brought back souvenirs but only got an hourglass left now of all I had. 🤷🏻‍♀️

      You might have a variety that needs thinning, do this after the drop, the drop is a time early summer when some of the set fruit will fall off the tree.

      @@ajones8699 Yeah, and don't throw'em apples away.. you could still cook'em down to tender with sugar to make apple sauce.
      Usually happens in June.. the tree itself tries to lighten up and help get sunlight in between branches as possible.

    Great video. I’ve had 2 apple trees now for 3 or 4 years. The one tree has never produced. The other tree in its first full year on my property had dozens and dozens of apples until one night the deer stripped the tree clean. Fruit wasn’t even close to ripe. Since then neither tree has done anything and seems to be diseased or something. Also the tree that never produced was planted in a poor spot and may be lacking enough sun. We’ve also had two late freezes the last two years. Can anyone recommend a product that will help trees fight off disease and insects? Last year moths built a nest in a tree nearby and devastated both. Ironically I also have a peach and pear tree and have had zero issues with them. First year fruit on the peach produced hundreds of peaches, ultimately breaking a main branch because of weight and high wind storms. The pear tree seems impervious to all threats. Any feedback is appreciated

    Which chemical we should spray to spray post harvest at Apple tree for feature safety

    • @grafotec
      @grafotec 5 лет назад +2

      it depend from apple quality. generally a leaf fertilizer like urea is sprayed at 1kg/hl with boron. the first one help leaf decomposition and prepare the nitrogen reserve for the next season start, the second one help if necessary flowering gems.

    For a college this video ahould and needs to have some animation to describe these diff. Definitions. Also, most of the population is way to dumb to understand half of this. I barely do and im smarter than most of these zombies lol. I got most of it and I am sick but I had to review it in my head to fully absorb it. No animation like ahould be bent more than horizontal. It should animate that what it is and why.
