@ Skrypture Mpcs and maschine both have their strong points. I personally use my maschine more than anything else but the mpc live 2 can download samples from splice over wifi. That was a big deal for me. Maschine plus wasnt too great when i bought it new not long after they were released but the updated from NI have address the issues I run across many times now and they have added all kinds of cool new features and tools. I like the sensitivity of maschines pads more than the mpcs but the mpcs feel rock solid like i coukd finger drum with a hammer and not break it lol. Id suggest trying them out somewhere if you can. Both is a good idea too though. Thats what i did. :P

How does Machine compare with MpcX? I’m in the market but not sure which one I want, might have to get both! Lol
I personally haven't used a MPC so I couldn't give you a fair comparison.

Couldn’t you just hit the sampling button. I just got an mk3 and still learning how to sample
If it’s a loop it’ll be in the audio module when you load it and that will not allow you to chop the and play it across the pads.
