    My dad had that exact car, but the soft top was navy blue... It was smooooothest ride! Like butter. And it was a tank! Nothing hurting that big bodied car! 😄

    This '87 Cadillac Fleetwood is straight classic vehicle

      This is not a Cadillac Fleetwood. Fleetwood that year (1985-1992) was a smaller, FWD model.

      @@daveb.4460 Actually you're BOTH wrong. This particular car is a Cadillac Brougham. However, in 1985 and 1986, there were TWO Fleetwood models available. The Front wheel drive smaller Fleetwood (available in coupe or sedan) or the full size rear wheel drive Fleetwood Brougham (also available in coupe or sedan). Due to your average person not being all that bright and that leading to much confusion over the two models, in 1987 Cadillac changed the name of the full size rear wheel drive car to simply "brougham" and also dropped the coupe option.

      This car had the olds 307. Not the crappy Cadillac fuel injected engine.

      yup, all the ht engines and northstars pretty much make caddys unbuyable in this time.
      u either get a carbed one before and therefor deal with that hassle, the latest b body fleetwood or (which i think is the best between old & new) the 90/91 brougham.
      i also hate gm for putting fwd on sooo many cool looking cars

    • @retroguy9494
      @retroguy9494 3 года назад +1

      @@noeyedeer4227 The 1990 Brougham also had the "carbed" engine if you had the smaller 5.0 liter engine. And with the 4.1 liter HT4100 engine it depended on if you got a good one or not. I have a 1984 Coupe DeVille and I have had no problems with the engine. I maintain it well by not going over 60MPH, using thicker oil (as is recommended) and constantly checking for any issues that may tell me I may need to add the pellets. I knew a man who bought one new and ran up almost 200K miles on it with no engine problems.

      What are you not smoking ... you cant get a more reliable engine and cheap to rebuild etc etc rear wheel drive...im a little in shock at the comment .

    You NEVER drive a Cadillac with the steering wheel that low. It has to be tilted all the way up 👍🏽😆

    Now THAT’s a CADILLAC right there! Sorry, the Escalade will never hold a candle to the Fleetwood of the 80s.
