Major Tech’s range of lighting consists of different variety of security lighting. Security lights with built in PIR’s, floodlights, work lights, emergency lights for power interruptions, stand alone PIRs for switching lighting on and off with movement and Day Night sensors for activating lighting between dusk and dawn.
With the global shortage of electricity supply, Major Tech has introduced Eco friendly products into this lighting range. Compact fluorescent and LED Security, Floodlights and work lights have become the norm, giving the users sufficient light at a fraction of the cost. LED lighting is rapidly replacing outdated technology such as incandescent and compact fluorescent globes for numerous reasons, in particular, ENERGY saving. Dimming is an integral part of lighting but unfortunately there are challenges associated with using LEDs to meet customer expectations. Traditional dimming units that were used for incandescent lamps unfortunately cannot be used with LED lamps. Compatibility between LED lamps, drivers, and controls can be confusing, and if they are specified improperly, performance will suffer. Major Tech’s range of LED lighting has been carefully tested to ensure compatibility with as many brands of dimmers as possible but only the dimmer supplied by Major Tech (V4014RN or V4018RN) can be guaranteed as perfectly compatible.
