True story…. Back in 1988 I met a girl from Kassel, West Germany. She was the love of my life. Overcome with grief I collapsed in the airport terminal when she left. 35 years later while sitting in my car at work while eating lunch, I look over and there she was ! Later on I played this video for her. We were both on the edge of our seat. Thank you ! Life is crazy sometimes. We never stopped loving each other.

I too got this little box-sort-of-thing with two little white ducks swirling around on it. I always thought this song was just a made up melody, when i suddently heard it in Friends (the time Rachel got the ladybug stuffed animal from Ross). There was this music box that had four fish on it , it belonged to my mom ; after she past away ( I was 7) . the first foster mother had a yard sale , selling all that was my mom including the music box , I was beyond devastated. I never knew what the song was called that the music box played til now . This lyrical signature has forever been engraved in my heart . The type of Tears that just wont stop is happening . This was beautiful.

When I was little, I used to listen to my mother’s jewelry box, and it played this song. The jewelry box was the one my dad bought her. Now it is the man who holds my heart that I think of when I hear this song. I love him always and forever.
I grew up with this song on a music box my dad bought me when I was five. It made it through many hard times with me and I would listen to it when I was sad. I lost it in a fire, and still miss it, and still appreciate the music. The fuller version is sooo much better thank you.

You play absolutely beautifully! As I was growing up only my mother & I we live in a ugly, small, buggy house. We had a old piano as well. I remember getting so aggravated cause she would play all the time. She was very good. It aggravated me though because it was so loud I couldn't watch TV or anything like that. I also learn to play when I was younger but have since forgotten how. My mom's been dead for over 15 years now and hearing you play the piano gives me chill bumps. When she played she always played the theme song from The Love story as well as Chariots of Fire. She played them from memory. Now I would do absolutely anything to her play just one more time? This reminds me of when I was a kid and my brother would play the piano eventually I'd join him singing. We'd sing for hours. This song was in the old music book series from Readers Digest along with many other great songs you don't hear anymore. And then I sang it at a friends wedding. Wonderful times.
