2:19:05 - very rare to see a United B77W at LHR, so pleased to see one today especially in United’s gorgeous new livery! Love the sound of the GE90, and love your camera work, Jerry! ❤
I did the “little joey” Qantas from to London in October 2022. The QF9, its flight number, originates in Melbourne - I’d been in Adelaide after doing the ghan train and my travel agent had bizarrely routed me from Adelaide to Melbourne to pick up the flight there rather than the flying direct from: Adelaide to Perth and picking the flight up there. All I can say is, if you’re in Perth, or your itiniary is naturally bringing you to Perth and you spend your last night there, just don’t do it!
The aircraft they were using was running late so Qantas rebooked me direct to Perth , on a later flight than I’d originally been booked on from Adelaide which was way more sensible. But it was still a monster of a flight.

Nothing to argue. An aircraft can stand almost every stress situation. Before it gets its certification it has to do certain things on the ground and in the air nobody ever could think of. Steep dives. Steep banks. Steep curves. Nothing can destroy an aircraft in the air. The weakest part in the sky is us. We are pretty fragile up there. Our heart and our aorta can only resist a sudden stress level. To much and we are dead. The g forces can easily kill us. That's why buckle up while sitting. Use your bloody seatbelt. It will save your precious life. Believe me.

Negative ground effect? Isn’t that a contradiction in terms? Pilots I know include a current BAcaptain refer to the effect where a plane is floating a bit more on a cushion than usual is ground effect.
So re moaning, that you only do one airport domestically, I would rather watch one airport really well covered. There’s other channels covering other airports well, though the6 don’t have the access you do mate, mainly as still growing channels I guess. You just keep up the hard work! 33:55
