I’ve had my maxus 2 for a few years and it’s jammed 3 times. Those 3 times were the first 3 shots it ever took out of the box. Never jammed since. My sx4 20 gauge has problems shooting light target loads. And my sx4 20 gauge does have the quick load feature. I still love my sx4 20 gauge I think it needs more shells. It’s less than a week old and I’ve only got 200 rounds through it.
Maxus 2 sx4 can’t be beat especially the price of the sx4 ! But I was pissed I bought extra chokes for the maxus 2 when literally the 3 that comes with it are 🔥, both are waterfowl n turkey guns no jams multiple seasons “2nd with maxus” for 1800 the only complaint I have is 1 the coating should be thicker mines is kinda beat up already (Ohio weather) 2 not enough 🦆s in Ohio 😂 best two guns in 12ga the browning gold 10 light 🥹 she’s a 🐖 and I love her!!!!
Wow now let’s not get crazy 😂 lol I love my maxus way better. But u agree that it’s a great gun and I do like it over my stoegers for sure. Hands down. But….. the Stoegers don’t have to be cleaned as much as the gas guns 🤷♂️
Winchester came out with the SX2 and browning came out with the gold both made in the same factory but the gold was a piece of crap so browning put the Winchester bolt in there gun and it was the silver, every one I hunted with and know definitely didn’t keep the browning golds they was jam masters in the marsh so browning is still using the Winchester bolts to this day and it’s the Winchester super x bolt.
I can’t go back and watch to make sure but I’m sure I did when I stopped the video to take off the hand guard. But I agree I should have in the recorded to show safety thanks.
Browning ruined the Maxus. I have the original Maxus and the newer one has the ugly trigger guard. Way way too exaggerated. I don’t care how big your gloves are and the stock is ugly too. I honestly was going to buy one. But I like the forearm on the original. It’s what actually made it a Maxus
Drill a hole in the bottom of the butt stock of the Winchester on the lowest underside area. This allows any water that gets in to drain out and prevent rusting.
I have the 20 gauge upland sx4 3 inch chamber 28 inch barrel the only complaint I have is getting the charging handle to stay on it has o lever under the bolt that has to be pulled up my sx4 will speed load not sure why your 12 gauge doesn’t
@@RDReynoldsOutdoors I really like the 20 gauge I have 12 gauge Remington 1100 so I was looking for a 20 semi automatic that bolt handle is a pain to get to stay in
@@anthonyrussomanno1540 my bolt just pulls out. But it straight out. Like 90deg from bolt. So does yours just fall out or does it come out when pulling it back to load
@@RDReynoldsOutdoors Dont get me wrong i have had both maxus and sx3 liked both and both good guns, But the gold is the one i prefer especially the Gold 20g
If you had to do it all over and just buy one would you go with the Winchester or spend double on the Maxus? I’m torn between both of these exact guns.
Right now neither. I have a A5 that’s my favorite. But hands down the maxus patterns better than a5 and the sx4. Go watch my video of the maxus jamming when feeding 2 3/4 shell. the sx4 and the maxus hate 2 3/4. I think it’s the feeder ramp problem. Other people have committed with the same problem out of the 3 1/2 guns. So I dont know. I’m going to send my browning back.

SX4 Hybrid model is a economy version of the Maxus 2 and Browning makes both.
My sx4 never jammed… I cleaned it a little bit.. I don’t know what you guys are talking about
😂

I agree. Come to sc and you will see even less ducks lol
Sx4 is a bad ass shotgun. Hands down better then the maxus.

My SX4 is the best auto loader I ever shot. Prefer it to any other
Thank you for that information!

Soon I will have a video of all of them together
Unload the live shell on the Maxus or use a snap cap for safety!

The winchester sx4 20ga does have the speed load, but the 12ga don't.
Really. That’s good to know. Tks
@@RDReynoldsOutdoors only on the 20ga. It is not listed on their website as an option but it does have the quick load feature.
@@vangthao888 I’m going to do more research. I wonder if the sx4 could use maxus parts to convert 🤷♂️

Look at how large that trigger guard is on the Browning, dang

That`s Easy the best one is the Browning GOLD 3.5" or 3" and GOLD 20g 🙂

That's my decision buy the Maxus II or the SX4 and save some money or do I just keep my Franchi Affinity Sporting in Synthetic!
I don’t like my sx4. But that’s my opinion.
Franchis are great sild mine wouldn't cycle light loads at all obly got a 3 in

Tomato city is a good place :)
Hope to make it out alive
What’s the camo on that SX4?
Thanks :)
Strata true timber
Does winchester have shim kit ?
My sx4 did not come with any. But it did come with the recoil extension or add on
@@RDReynoldsOutdoors thanks for your help
They r made by the same company
Freedom arms bought out browning and Winchester
That they are.
