Unfortunately, Aron will be unable to get the max breeding speed without ranch upgrades since none of the 2+ point blocks are the same between rock and steel types. I recommend doing a full breeding area of Endstone as that is the easiest 3 point block to get for those types, and it will give you the second-highest breeding speed :)

Hi! Really like all the informative vids you are making. I recently started playing on a whitelist Pixelmon server, it is mostly standard settings (no passive mob spawn) and no custom shops. So, I was wondering what I can do to farm iron in large amounts (other than go mining for it). Any advice would be appreciated. :3
I’m glad you enjoy the vids! As for the iron, I usually just go caving, but a few viewers recently mentioned that nether fortresses are a good place to get iron and aluminum (from defeating Honedge and Pawniard). Although, I think structure spawns were removed in 8.3, so those Pokemon may not spawn there anymore. Unfortunately iron farms can’t be made with the default settings as all villagers are transformed immediately into Pixelmon villagers, even when curing zombie villagers. I hope this helps you out a little and I wish you luck in your iron endeavors :)
@@napkin99Extras Hello again! Hope your day is going well. Just wanted to give a little update and also say thanks for the reply. I made a secondary base in the Mesa biome and found something out - the elephant Pokemons, very common spawns there and drop generous amounts of iron. Iron blocks even. Already have half a stack of iron blocks thanks to them. Hope that helps someone else on here.
@@AvidgamerZ Nice! I farmed the elephants for a little bit too at one point while I was waiting for a strike Pokemon, they definitely are a reliable source for iron. It may actually help to have a Pokemon with Magnet Pull in the first spot to get more steel-type spawns. Thanks for the tip!
@@napkin99Extras Have a berry farm going constantly for the strong steel lure. When I am in my Mesa base, always have one active... Like I said - half a stack of iron blocks and that was after I made roughly 10 stacks of ball lower half (6 stacks of iron ingots) that I currently have forming in the mechanical anvil.
Unfortunately, one or both of the parents being shiny won’t affect the baby being a shiny. The only ways to increase the odds of a shiny through breeding are by breeding Pokemon with different original owners, breeding in Ultra Space, and by having the shiny charm. I wish you luck getting your Gyarados :)
Question What about ginormus and microscopic sizes for legendarys? if you can't breed them are they then unobtainable? besides enabling the option to allow legendarys from ditto ditto breeding?
Maybe someone knows what the problem is? I can't get regional forms through breeading on version 9.0.6. Regardless of whether the parents are alolan/galar, and the presence of everstone, original forms are born from the egg.
Is it confirmed that breeding in ultra space affects shiny rates? I can't seem to find anything on the wiki about it, it seems like the shiny rate increase in Ultra Space only affects wild spawns.
Yep, unfortunately ditto’s environment has to be met as well. Occasionally its blocks match up with the other type in the breed, but most of the time it will need to be split.
I believe only blocks can be used for breeding environment since they need to be placed around the ranch block. A link to the full list of the breeding blocks and their point values can be found in the description :)
All breeds will need the environment changed to their types. The more points you can get for both Pokemons’ types, the quicker the breed will be. The topmost block in the 9x9 area around the ranch block (excluding the ranch block and the block below it) will count towards the breed. I hope this answers your question :)
When trying to breed a shiny do the times 2 odds stack.. for example if I have the shiny charm (acquired by catching all Pokémon in dex) and am in ultra space do the chances turn into a 4x
There's a mistake in your info. Around 7:20 you mention that breeding Meowth with any other Alolan Pokemon will never produce an Alolan Meowth. This is not true. If you use a Kantonian Meowth and an Alolan Rattata and let the Rattata hold an everstone, you will produce Alolan Meowths.
When IV breeding is there a way for example to get my froakie with 23 SpA Ivs to 31 through the breeding or do I need to tame a wild one with the max IV to combine?
It’s possible to max an IV while breeding that isn’t max in either of the parents parents. There will always be a random IV in the breed, so it’s possible for that IV to max itself out. It may be quicker to find one in the wild though and breed that into the pool. I hope this helps! :)
@@napkin99Extras I think so, so for example if I've got 2 froakies breeding with 23 SpA there's a chance they could both pass to the baby which would cap it at 31? And would it help if I had the item for it?
Unfortunately, the SpA IVs won’t add together. In that breed it would just be a random chance that the SpA on the baby is anything from 0 to 31, or 23 if it pulls the IV from its parents.
I have a nice trick to get any nature wild pokemon you want and this trick is so simple but i don’t know that you can be able to understand what I'm saying Mah english is not so good tho
The synchronize ability gives you a 50% chance of the Pokemon having the same nature as the Pokemon with the ability. It’s definitely a good tool for getting the initial nature that you want :)
Nope, just the one on top of the other since the environment has to be within a certain range of the ranch block. I haven’t tried doing a 3-stack with the environment around the middle ranch block, but that could possibly work.
@@oswaldtime Yup! It can be a bit tricky first starting off, and I always get myself confused when I’m trying to figure out which Pokemon I need to breed for IVs lol
It depends on how satisfied the parents are with their breeding environment. The quickest time is 37 and a half minutes (or half of that if you have the Oval Charm).
If you right-click on each of the parents, it should say something like “Pokemon 1 falls madly in love with Pokemon 2 every day” or something like that. There are a few different messages for each different rate of breeding. Other than that, eventually hearts will appear above the breeding Pokemon if they are in the process of breeding. It takes 5 IVs from between both parents, so if you’re breeding a Pokemon that has 6 max IVs with a Pokemon that has none, there’s still a chance the baby will pick up to 5 IVs from the non-max parent, and the other IV will always be random. I hope this answers your question!
@@napkin99Extras so what if both parents have 6 max ivs then both have destiny knot while breeeding will it get 100% that the baby will get 5 max ivs then one random?

@@OskarSvan No, the eggs hatch based on the number of steps taken in game. So just running in around in the Minecraft world will hatch the eggs. But if you have a lot of eggs to hatch and you don't want to just run in circles. You can place Movement Plates on the ground so that each one is facing another plate in a loop.
