+Creighton Varney Ah yes! I've read a few of your posts over the months. Just looked up the Bedford thread; I'll try and aim to make it, I'll send you a PM. :-)
+Jamie Bridges Hi Jamie, thanks for the comment! Are you doing a track day in your own car or is it one of the Palmer Sport days using their Atoms etc? Hope you get lucky with the weather! :-)
Terror Stain taking my car. i have built a scirocco track car :) nowhere near as fun as your atom though and nowhere near as well driven haha :) hopefully weather is good! i booked sen a few years ago but it got snowed off!
+Jamie Bridges Sounds good, it doesn't matter what you drive as long as you enjoy yourself! Will keep an eye out for you at future track days! Good luck! :-)
Hi Andy, thanks for the comments. I use ram mounts for the GoPro, normally fitted to either the roll bar or side chassis rail. You'll need one of these www.ram-mount.co.uk/1-diameter-ball-with-custom-gopro®-hero-garmin-virb-x-virb-xe-adapter-p-1708-c-360_168.html?sesid=3r8pj9kbu7orqnk46n6d098ih2 to attach to the actual GoPro, then you can use any ram mount that suits your application. Hope that helps :-)
Impressive driving, unbelievable how fast that car is in the right hands. May I ask you what camera setup you have there, looks really good quality and the telemetry is great.
Matthew Poxon Hello Mr Poxon :-) I use a GoPro for the "main" video and Mobius HD cameras (www.minidvcameras.co.uk/viewitem.php?productid=17) for the picture in picture stuff (pedals, rear view etc). My data logger is an original Autosport Labs Race Capture Pro unit, but they have now brought out a newer MK2 version (trigger-wheels.com/store/contents/en-uk/d66.html) Cheers!
Hi there! I use a MK2 RaceCapture Pro for data logging/GPS etc. They don't make that any more as it's been superseded by newer models, check out www.autosportlabs.com/ for details. Cheers!
Just had to google "homunculus". Thanks for my new favourite word, I will endeavour to slip that into conversations at every opportunity! Back on topic, I use a "Shift-I" indicator. It's discontinued but there is a newer model replacement that looks to be much improved, see here: ecliptech.com.au/shift-p2/. Cheers!
Outstanding. I'm very new to my Atom but you make the car look so balanced, seriously impressed.
Thanks for the comment. Welcome to Atom ownership, are you on the owners club forum? Check out my other videos for more Atom onboard footage!
Hi, yes I am on the forum as 'reg', currently looking at places for first track day somewhere...following the thread on Bedford with interest :)
+Creighton Varney Ah yes! I've read a few of your posts over the months. Just looked up the Bedford thread; I'll try and aim to make it, I'll send you a PM. :-)
Awesome driving
Great driving, looks fun. Just doing some research, doing a day at Bedford (SEN) in a week!
