Man the improvement of this fever team is amazing. More effort on defense, more alertness on offense. Can’t wait to see how they do against the better teams in the league going forward.

@@truthiscensoredyou gotta recalibrate yourself to the WNBA standard of efficiency. Literally all the starting guards are shooting below 45% from the field. Effective field goal % is the better efficiency metric in this case cause it accounts for three point shooting. Her current efg% is 49 which is good considering the slow start she had in the beginning
And they are just starting out! CC is still learning, great play by everyone - Boston, Smith, Mitchel, and the rest - great coaching as well. Amazing to watch.
Yes, CC has hardly had a chance to catch her breath. She just finished playing college. She’s still finding her way but catching on very fast.
I think Clark is center focal point, teams really respect her shooting capabilities, so when they double and triple team her she is going to pass ball to open players and now they are aware a pass could be coming there way and not fumble it and follow thru with scoring basket where in the earlier season games some how Clark got charged with the turnover. as time goes by these ladies are going to be tough to beat as learn to play together. I enjoy watching the whole team play even though at times they make my ass checks pucker when I see 16 point leads disappear. Go Caitlin, bring out there best in them

Wemby and Scoot had 9 TO games this year, with multiple 7 or more, with l10 avgs of 4.5 and 5.2. Lebron leads NBA in total turnovers. She doin alright.

Yeah I think they were able to have a few rest days after that crazy schedule they started out with.. 12 games in 20 days is unheard of
They didn't have enough practice time before the season started, and once it did, their tight schedule prevented much practice time as well. Since then, they've had enough breaks to get in some serious practice, and it is definitely showing on the court.

That was the best game the Fever has played so far this season. Free-flowing basketball!
Been really enjoying the Fever offense. Just joining the wnba. It's enjoyable because the physicality isn't otherworldly compared to the NBA. So the decisionmaking and teamwork seem to stand out way more. But not as lopsided as college where teams lack parity. Great league and want to check out more teams!
i agree. it is easier to see the plays developing and the players movements. The players are more willing to pass as well.

Watching CC, I actually am less excited by her range than the chemistry she has with Boston. Some super nice passes and catches. The chemistry is sweet

The Fever offense has changed over night, the movement, the cuts, the screen settings, the flats, the PnR, the 3pt shooting, they'll be very scary to play against soon and they are STILL learning about each other's game, that Smith girl, I really really like her games...
It didn't happen overnight. It's been a slow, but constant improvement once they actually got practice time starting 2 or 3 weeks ago.
My family and I went to the Dream game against the Fever last night and we truly enjoyed both teams and the experience!
I like the respectful way the other team and Fever were dealing in playing.
I really think that opposing teams focusing on Clark is helping fever as a whole.
Thank you Caitlin for making this sport relevant. Dont let tge jealous haters get you down. You mean a lot to millions of people all over the world.

*The 3 pointer at **5:42** is exactly why I enjoy watching Caitlin.* She hits deep 3 pointers over defenders playing great defense and all they can do is shrug their shoulders likely saying "dang, I don't think I could've guarded that any better." Along with the passing she's fun to watch. Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin were my most recent favorite entertaining players to watch on the collegiate level, *so nice to watch both on the same team. Kelsey has Jamal Crawford handles and I'm glad they are killing it with attendance.*
I've really become a Mitchell fan over the past week. A pure scorer with great energy.
I'd add NaLyssa Smith. She struggles with consistency but when she's on she's a lot of fun to watch and works well with everyone.

Boston and Clark are making each other better
The WNBA's Atlanta Dream typically play in a 3,500-seat arena. But for tonight's game against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, they moved it to the nearby NBA arena. The game sold out and set a franchise record with 17,575 fans in attendance.

The Fever have really improved from the first few games. Clark really does well at the 1 and Smith and Boston are really getting that inside game rolling as well. You can see that they are starting to gel especially as they know now about Clark's passing and rebounding ability.
Hard to believe it's the same roster and coaching staff from the beginning of the season.
The Indiana Fever improved a lot within the current season.

These highlights don't show all the bs where refs tried to help the dream back into this game. Dream took 28 free throw shots, Indiana took 11. They also don't show the techs. The announcers did a crap job of talking about relevant plays and went off on tangents regularly. Refs on BOTH sides need to be more consistent and held accountable for their ridiculous calls.

AB is such an awesome presence on the court, and her dominance is freeing up Smith, who is dangerous in her own right, for some amazing plays! Same with CC drawing double coverage, were Samuelson, Mitchel and Horn are just as dangerous from range! Horn, Mitchel and Wheeler are serious drive to the basket so you have to respect their presence there, but you can not afford to over-react to them because the threats on the arch and posted in the paint are so real! This team is only starting to warm up. Most inexperienced team in the league means that this group is only going to get more in tune! Such a joy to see them playing solid together!!

Indiana Fever has been really coming along and playing solid. Caitlin Clark isn't always the star. But there's one thing she's been establishing and that's playing solid her first year. That's substantial for a rookie. In a mediocre game for her 16 points for rebounds and seven assists. Every time she brings down the ball she looks very polished especially her passing. In my opinion she's playing ahead of schedule for rookie. She's only going to get better. She's one to watch she's going to be great in this league

Just wow! I am all CC and Fever, and on the road to the first ring, Fever would be one of the teams I would dread facing, if not THE TEAM. As I look at the games and highlights, I am trying to develop strategies to counter the Fever with. so ,maybe I can somehow share these with the Fever so they can be prepared. I come up with nothing. The jelling of the team and the additional names I am now beginning to remember does not only mainly leave the big three for opponents to deal with, but others too. Big 3 : CC Boston and Mitchelle. Curls, Blacky and Bondie are bringing it in too! With the big 3 so vastly different in styles and strengths, each being effective, how do you face my girls? When the team is defending quite well now. Wow!

The comparison between Kukoc and Clark pertained to dealing with that type of defense. Maybe you should learn basketball in general; men and women’s, before you start calling people stupid.

Another great game with solid team play on offense and defense. Ten players scored with five in double figures. Ten players with assists and 24 assists total. Nine players with rebounds and a 35 to 30 rebound edge. A total team effort. The Dream spent a lot of time doubling and trapping Boston and Clark and they paid dearly for this as other players contributed.
The next five games on the schedule are a big test with Sunday's game against the Sky in Chicago being the easiest.
Watch this whole game on ion but didn’t stick around for the second game…..
