I had triplets 30 years ago, and when they discovered their were 3 babies, the dr immediately assumed I would abort 2 of the babies. He just went on as if it was normal. I said no way. He could not understand how I could put myself and my health at risk to have 3 babies. There was no way I would kill my babies. I didn’t care the risks because I knew God would take care of us. And I had 3 beautiful healthy babies.

We have laws in this country. You can't go anywhere in the world without being subject to their laws. How many people in this world violate those laws? You can't give me a number because it's so great that it can't really be counted. A couple I know could not have children, they went to an abortion clinic and sat on the parking lot. The first lady they seen walking toward the door, they stopped her and told her they would adopt the baby if she would have it. The lady's agreed. They supported her throughout the whole pregnancy and when he baby was born they adopted it. True story, I know them personally.

I am pregnant now. I found out in April was 16 weeks when I found out and initially wanted to abort my baby due to fear of not being ready to be a mother, jobless, and unhappy in the state of my relationship.I visited the abortion clinic made my abortion appointment ,5/10, a date I will never forget. God created my child, blessed me and put him in my womb, and saved me from the worse mistake I could ever make. I admire and praise your parenthood - it is noble and makes you a better person than me - but what do you mean when you say "women, the decision is up to you" ?
I guess technically that is the case, but I don't know if women, particularly young women, should really be given that choice. It's crazy to me that pro choicers often bring up the topic of teenage pregnancies as though it's an argument for abortions - we don't think a teenage girl has the wisdom to consent to drink alcohol, but we think she can consent to the killing of her own child? Can she really understand the magnitude of such a decision?
My heart weeps for the women who had abortions at a young age before they understood what was really happening - I feel they are victims of a culture and medical system that made them a party to their own child's killing. Young motherhood is obviously a huge deal and absolutely it is incumbent on the men and women in the community around a pregnant young women (and the father) to step in and support, guide and love her, the father and her child however they can - in fact it's the moral duty of adults around her to do so.
But I tend to think presenting her with that "choice" is deeply unfair to her and obviously to the life within her, (not to mention God!).
Unfortunately this modern culture teaches young women that motherhood is some kind of death sentence, some kind of curse, some kind of impossible burden - when the truth is it's not only the noblest calling of them all, but it's a calling she DOES have the power to gracefully embody and live out, if only she can be given the support and guidance she needs to follow in that glorious path. She, by her nature, has what it takes to be a mother and God willing we'll eventually again have a culture that recognizes and promotes this truth so that young women can truly understand and embrace the sacred power they have within them.

Ultimately it's the woman who has to sacrifice her body to create a baby, so I don't think the man (or anyone) can force her to carry it to term or abort it. In Queensland Australia the Premier Anastasia Paluechek has recently introduced "The termination of Pregnancy Bill 2018" which will allow a Woman to have an Abortion(murder a baby) FOR ANY REASON up to 22 WEEKS, then after that she can have an abortion(murder a baby) with no time restrictions AT ALL with the approval of 2 medical professionals. If a Doctor refuses to give her consent on moral grounds, the Doctor is legally obligated to refer her to another Doctor who is not morally opposed. It is also illegal to protest outside an abortion clinic or try to reason with the woman or offer her help and support to help her with the pregnancy. All this blatant evil in the world is driving atheists back to God in droves. It did for me.

I can't speak for conservatives, I'm not one. I'm also an Atheist if that matters to you, so I'm not you're typical Jesse Peterson fan, though I do absolutely enjoy his show and respect him. Conservatives have challenged me a lot on the issue of abortion, and I find myself more and more sympathetic to their perspective on this issue as time goes on.
I think a big reason that I personally was pro-choice in the past is for exactly the reasons you describe. I'm pro-freedom, pro-property rights and I believe in self-ownership. In other words, I absolutely do believe that women own their own bodies and I still do. This is part of why it's been such a tough issue for me. I don't have any interest in telling other people what they should or should not do, beyond basic moral rules like don't rape, don't murder, don't steal. The moral question about abortion really comes down to how we define a human life.
Something that had a major influence in how I think about this is the birth of my niece. My sister's daughter. Her name is Ashley. She is my favorite person on Planet Earth. I remember when my sister first showed me an ultrasound when she would only 3 months or so into the pregnancy. What I saw was almost like tiny and blurry peanut, but I could absolutely make out a little head, the beginnings of a little nose, legs and arms. and even hands. Looking back at that ultrasound picture now, I realize that I was looking at Ashley. That was Ashley's little face. Those were Ashley's little arms. That was her!
The idea of terminating her in the very beginning like that repulses me to the very core when I look back at that picture. I've looked at pictures of aborted fetus', and they make me want to cry, and I almost never cry. Abortion is just so awful when I really give it a good hard look.
I can understand that abortion may be necessary in some cases, like if the mother needs Chemotherapy for cancer. I understand the very difficult moral diliemma of a rape victim being impregnated by their rapist. I can understand that perhaps, in these very rare cases, you could make a moral argument for abortion that I could relucantly get on board with.
However, in 99% of abortion cases I think it is an absolute tragedy. A very sad thing. Something I cannot, in good consience endorse in any way.

Okay: if you don't agree with abortion, that is totally fine. Quite frankly, I don't care. However, my issue is when the people try to push laws that prevent women from having the choice to end an unplanned pregnancy. Making abortion illegal would be very very dangerous to the women in our society. Being pro-choice does not mean you necessarily agree with abortion or find it morally acceptable. Pro-choice means that you understand that what a woman does with her body is her business and no one else's. I think that is where people often get confused. Personally, if I got pregnant during college, I would get an abortion because it would be nearly impossible for me to raise a child while also focusing on my future and working towards my career. There are many circumstances under which a woman would have an abortion and I think people need to be more respectful of that, especially considering how dangerous it would be to outlaw abortion. Women would try to get them one way or another and that is very scary and very dangerous. Anyways, I digress.

Furthermore, the heart beat is not a marker for when life begins. The science of embryology tells us that human life begins at conception, and that the zygote is a whole living human being because it has the following key characteristics of being alive, ie, it is growing and metabolizes nutrition from the very moment of conception.
