I like the plastic bag with the flour...I know it's silly but I can easily put it on the garbage instead of making a plate super sticky as I used to do.
I agree. You can also use a brown paper bag or a plastic bag with the seasoning and flour in it to easily determine how much flour that you are going to put in the drippings. Saves time, you can coat the meat and use the same flour for the drippings.

Caused complete paralysis of my stomach, so stomach was cut out, and been on TPN IV nutrition (after doing feeding tubes first) and IV medication for a couple years through central line, and the steroids and methotrexate go through Central Line too. Sometimes you just need something light hearted to bring some joy-sometimes from some unexpected sources! When your hair has fallen out from Lupus and chemo meds, and you got tubes coming out of you to keep you alive, and kids and family, you gotta find things to put a smile on your face! Totally why I come watch her bids when I can't eat most of it (but my kids can)-she cracks me up and I love watching her vids!

She's right about the way you make good pancakes. I used to make mine w/ butter in the skillet cause that gives the outer edge a buttery crunch, but if you want em to come out like IHOP, just add buttermilk to your batter, you don't have to use any oil, just a medium-hot skillet.

I love how you are teaching an entire generation about saving. The cold water works because it doesn't let the oil in the mix bind with the flour. Because of that, it mix creates air bubbles as it cooks. It is the same when making homemade pie dough - mix ice cold butter with the flour, then add ice cold water to make the dough.

I love how you are teaching an entire generation about saving. The cold water works because it doesn't let the oil in the mix bind with the flour. Because of that, it mix creates air bubbles as it cooks. It is the same when making homemade pie dough - mix ice cold butter with the flour, then add ice cold water to make the dough.
I agree, and also if you overmix the batter,, it makes the pancakes rubbery. Sometimes I put butter and cinnamon in the batter.
