I'm not sure on the specs of this prebuilt but looks like there is only one stick of RAM, you should definitely consider getting another stick so it runs in dual channel mode or else you will be taking a pretty big performance hit
That's why it is best to build your own, these days I could never buy a prebuilt desktop, with the money you'd have to spend getting better parts (especially a PSU) you would be better off building where possible. There are plenty of tutorials online
Yeah Cyber Buy Power has a sad history of using a single dim of ram in dual channel motherboards. It's probably at least a 16 gig stick. But yes that recommendation is necessary. Especially if it is a Ryzen system. Ram, especially fast ram feeds the infinity fabric.
I think the younger crowd forgets how satisfying it was to buy your new PC (in a box) with all the parts you need. I think it was fun to see how in 2024 a typical consumer reacts to the prebuilt PC. Yes, they are more expensive. However, for busy folks, the convenience can be worth it. You could spend days, weeks, or even months planning a build OR just go buy one and enjoy from day one. There was one video where this guy spent 2 months planning out the perfect build. Even I was thinking, just buy something man LOL. It all goes down in value anyway. Congrats on the new PC!
That thing is going to fly when you get a second stick of ram for the first channel. What a graphics card! At 16gb is more than enough but it’s single channel at the moment. Computers run better on dual channel and mine is ten years old with 2 ram sticks of 8g each.

Got the vid recommended on the side of another video and just had to watch. Love to see other people getting their pcs, wether it's their first one overall, first gaming one, first higher end one or just a new one in general. And sure since I've put together my own rig, my one thought was "hope she wasnt ripped of too too much". But at the I've also gotten a prebuilt before when I knew nothing about pcs and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. All I hope is that you're enjoying your new pc to the fullest and that you're happy with the purchase. Love from the pcmr community
Congrats on your new PC! just to point out that you have a single stick of ram which is single channel but buying a matching stick of ram would enable dual channel which makes your pc perform better, also for the headset you planning on getting i suggest you get the Razer - BlackShark V2 X Wired Gaming Headset

Also if you didnt know you can dowload software to change the lights in the keyboard, just an fyi because you seemed to love that it lights up. If you want a good wired head set that works with xbox and pc is the steelseries artic nova 3s are a good pick, they also have a little bit of rgb in the headset too!!

Yes! I've been planning an entire upgrade to the whole space. I also thought about turning the whole thing around so the cables come out of the back, but I like being able to access the USB ports and I like watching the fans change color 😂😅
I was almost you. But people shamed me into buildiing my own. Try it on your next go around. It's so much fun! And there are so manyways to make it unique and just what you wanted!
Thanks for your insight! That's the plan. I wanted a starter so I could get used to it and be able to spend a little less, but I'm starting to get a list together of everything I'll want in a build and planning to have a MUCH bigger budget for that. I'm always open to part suggestions and tips on building the best!
Nice lil setup but if possible get some cable sleeves for cable management and make sure you get the monitior hz in tune with the pc other than that great!
Very nice pc along with the whole setup. As for a headset that works on everything I would suggest 3 wireless ones to look into: Turtle beach stealth 600 gen 2 max, Stealth 700 gen 2 max, and the Steelseries nova pro X. if you want to go high end then the Astro a50x is also an option, but it is expensive.
I use EPOS Sennheiser GSP 602 wired, but they have wireless as well. I love em I was looking for some for my ps5 and Xbox as well and these work great. I mostly use them for my PC

They seem to only sell high profiles nowdays, or only couple lowbies available.. is annoying :7 Gonna be testing next: Razer Ornata V3 X.

Myself been around computers since Commodore 64 was released I deal with computer stuff every day. To the point I'm well known in my town for knowing how to work on computers and even trained in Electronic repair. As soon I seen it was a CyberPower Computer I knew straight away it would only have a single stick of RAM installed. They are notorious for only installing a single stick of RAM in their computers. By only having a single stick on RAM installed it's hurting the performance of the system. Ram should always be installed in pair's for the best performance from the computer. Another words if you want 16GB worth of RAM then you install TWO 8 GB sticks. If you want say 32GB worth of RAM then you install TWO 16 GB sticks. You get the idea it's done so it will run in dual channel which will help with the performance of the system. Congratulations on the computer though.
The system has DDR5 memory in it, so it's not as big of a deal to run a single stick as it was with DDR4, but yeah 2 sticks is going to be better than 1.

DDR5 with a dedicated GPU the difference is going to be barely noticeable if at all, also 1 stick of ddr5 is technically dual channel. It's 2 32bit busses per module instead of 1 64bit.
Never ever buy a pre built, and you will get ripped . But want would know you ask? At least 29 years building pcs, it certied, used to repair pcs and so forth ..
It would be better if you face the pc the other way around in the table since hot air would exhaust from the back and it wouldnt be aesthetically pleasing.
You know nothing about computers buddy! First of all it takes a lot of research to find the parts, not just a 1 hour video then build it, and second of all $400!? More?! No that’s a stretch, most prebuilts cost anywhere from 150 to 350 dollars more, and third of all, some people really aren’t interested or just don’t have the time to build one from scratch. Please do more research!
I actually do plan to build one, I just want to have a much bigger budget so I can get everything on the higher end of things. This was a good choice for me to start my PC journey and to learn what I like and don't like as well as what I would want for my own personal build.

Tell me you know nothing about computers without telling me you know nothing about computers. I work in IT, have been for a good few years now and have been tinkering with PCs for over 15 years. If you have zero experience you don't just watch a 1 hour video, spend a thousand dollars or whatever your budget is on parts and you're good to go. I've never seen anyone with absolutely zero knowledge of computer parts build a pc and source compatible parts with JUST a 1 hour video.
I'm ok with a prebuilt for my first PC. I'm starting to research and figure out what I want for my first build... and when I have a bigger budget, I'll pull out all the stops!
You got ripped off. I can build a PC more powerful and reliable PC for a 1/4 the price. Cyber Power as been known to build junk PCs that look cool and are way overpriced for what you get. That do not last long. Other than that, happy for you. At least you brought the right mouse.
That's part of the journey! I'm still new to all of this and learning so it'll be awesome to grow in my PC journey and eventually build a perfect one by myself. Piece by piece, it will all come together 🫡
If it came from best buy that ain't no gaming PC it is a piece of Trash, I know i bought one 3 years ago, but it does play fallout 3 and 4 pretty good, but not as good as my old FX8350 computer that I built when Fallout 3 first came out.

Corsair HS55 wireless gaming headset is my favorite so far. Battery lasts almost a day, and the sound is great even for chat and music

100% - not sure on the specs of this prebuilt but running single channel RAM you will be taking a pretty hefty performance hit.

I had the same keyboard for a long time. Its pretty solid and I like the feel better then pretty much any keyboard I have used before.
That's good to hear! It's such a satisfying keyboard. I think the only thing I would change is adding a number pad on the side, but that's just me lol

You got ripped off. I can build a PC more powerful and reliable PC for a 1/4 the price. Cyber Power as been known to build junk PCs that look cool and are way overpriced for what you get. That do not last long. Other than that, happy for you. At least you brought the right mouse.
That's part of the journey! I'm still new to all of this and learning so it'll be awesome to grow in my PC journey and eventually build a perfect one by myself. Piece by piece, it will all come together 🫡

If it came from best buy that ain't no gaming PC it is a piece of Trash, I know i bought one 3 years ago, but it does play fallout 3 and 4 pretty good, but not as good as my old FX8350 computer that I built when Fallout 3 first came out.
