We need an emergency churros podcast. Diego punching the air rn.
Grass-Cutter is leaving. I'm as depressed as the day Sergio Ramos left real madrid.
Whenever we play with vini and Rodrigo together ; we struggle and when joselu comes on our attacking play improves a lot and we attack with the direction
This team is designed to have a target man(focal point)
@@TooStrongTNT why Carlo doesn't understand that
Honestly I think it’s rest and rotation that’s necessary. We are usually more dangerous with a target man but from an overall quality perspective we are better without Joselu. We just need more intensity all around. Rodrygo has put in a few “cowardly displays”.
Reminds me of a younger Benzema before Mourinho. Right now we are hunting with a house cat.
People don’t realise all of Vini’s defects are what makes him great. He talks too much and gets involved with the fans = he’s got a lot of fire and passion, he’s a fighter.
He dribbles too much sometimes = he will NOT hide and doesn’t feel the pressure of being our main guy.
Young Rooney was VERY imperfect and only fully matured with age.
Re: Vini and Rodri, this isn’t their final form. They BOTH have to learn. They both compliment each other because each one has what the other doesn’t.
I think Rodrygo is burnt out he looks super tired .@@demejiuk5660
Brahim was so invisible that when he got subbed off, that was the first time I realized he played. He’ll come back stronger, just an off day today 💪🏼
We need to go back to the 433 formation number even without a number 9...i miss that fluidity....high tempo with vini creating havoc in the wing
I agree. Once Joselu come on and we switch to 4-3-3, we are more fluid and in attack and we press better too with 4-3-3
no
Kiyan's intro skills are becoming unmatched
I think what was lost in this victory is how great kroos played 🔥, he was key again
If that Ceballos situation was a pen, then everything is a pen. That would ruin the sport if they called those
Arda played well even when his time on the pitch the team was defensively oriented.
Great listen and watch as always 👊🏿
Real Madrid play anti-robotic football that's way I always love this club and football
Welp and there goes Xavi
My main issue right now with the team is that we are conceding some goals ( not most) that are or can be prevented through more focus and positioning.
The goal las palmas scored against us if you watch the entire play leading up to their goal, our holding midfielder and especially our defenders (nacho particularly) not once track the incoming runner or tried to cover the space the attacker was running into who slotted the ball one time in the net.
Im very optimistic we can win the league but with our fragile defending im not so sure we can beat the likes of city, inter, bayern.
We just need Militao back and we'll be fine imo
@@clauslarsen8971 that's if militao can even get back to his level after such a long term injury
It is confusing to see inter mixed in with the likes of Man City and Munich. I am assuming this is because they went to the final last season, where one side of the CL bracket was serie A. Inter unless they recruited heavily are no better than the same side that gets continuously eliminated in the round of 16 against decent opponents.
@@navis462 I disagree with you, maybe pound for pound they are not this gung-ho team that plays this extravagant eye pleasing football very similar to us, they are very systematic can defend and have the ability to hit counter attacks in just 3 to 4 passes.
They're a very good team and they have been very consistent, worst thing to do is to underestimate them or any other team of their caliber
i dont see us winning ucl this season with this squad honestly
Agree 💯 with Matt that's why I say Laliga is the most entertaining league and Real Madrid is the most fun club to watch the players are just creative on another level they have a more performative way of playing
I hop this was good evidence that rahim is only good when he come last 20 or 30 min to play then his fast and opponent defense are tired .
about the Scaloni quote: he is right, but Carlo's Madrid (and maybe Real Madrid in general in this century) is too extremely reliant on the players creativity. the next big coach will find the great balance between when to let players cook, when they can rely on what the coach brings to the table in terms of structure and routine which really helps during long seasons and would help with these matches like vs Las Palmas and Almeria. This is why I think Madrid won fewer LaLi titles in this century than they were supposed to, and almost NEVER back to back LaLi titles (apart from 06-08 but Barca was shit in the title defence season). I think this is why Xabi Alonso would be the next evolution for Madrid he can do it both.
Scaloni's World Cup winning strategy was also this balanced approach btw
Completely agree👍 We pride on having no fixed football Ideology and for good reasons. But having clear and strong structure- particularly defence win you league campaigns.
Someone needs to ask the important questions. it just doesnt work in the 4-3-1-2 with vini and rodrygo. Its just a waste of both of them. Both are left wingers. Rodrygo is at his brutal best when he is not playing with vini. Its just not working with him for rodrygo. everything flows thru vini in this team. Its a shame because i always felt rodrygo is the most talented young player in our squad. But, the facts our madrid have to scarifcie one of them 2 in the long term. Would rather get the best out of one than hog both of them and let them perform to 60 percent ability
today cebellos n brahim were victims of ancelotti little tactical thoughts, he just throws up a lineup of players just to appease the bench warmers. cebellos does not play on the right and brahim is not also potent on the left both were confused in the movement in attack. vini ( so many solo runs ) n rodrgo are not linking properly back to the start of the season problems. well we still ve 2yrs of this coach.
Nacho and ceballos has been shit
nacho yes, cebellos no.
@@AMAZING-bi6ib The system in which we play ceballos doesn't fit into that
