Hi can you help? I used the normal XBSX2 so I have everything on my drive set up like folders permissions etc and it works no problem on xbsx2, but on this new version 1. My covers don't show it just shows some white square with a picture inside but not my covers and 2. None of my bios are showing up? It's like not detecting them.. but it works no problem on the original version. Please help.

I only have one question. The Need for Speed game keeps crashing. Do you know if there is a fix? When I try to boot up the game, it just won't launch. It worked a couple of times. But it crashed on me. Some games work fine, and others just won't boot.
@@too1leasy the covers need to be named by the game id, if you are in the discord server and grab the pre made xbsx2 folder, Download that and it’ll have a covers folder with all of them already pre added if you would like to save time
I download the preparation files to get all file structure but when i try to lunch start bios nothing happens and when i see whats inside this folder there is not nothing do i have to download the bios from somewhere else???? Thank you
I was using retail mode and got in the mood to play Xmen Legends and come to find out it’s blocked. Do I have reformat my USB where my games were located for Devmode? Will be following the steps I really liked the Xbsx2

So by doing the Memory Card Directory part, will my games save unto that usb folder? Cuz that's what i mainly want, my saves to store in my usb, instead of that Mcd001 (system itself saves) thing, i already had a bad experience with that during retail mode
yeah itll add the saves onto the usb, its still gonna be Mcd001 because thats the virtual memcard thats where the saves get stored onto but it will be on your usb

Nah retail mode is no longer, the last release for retail mode gotten people suspended so it’ll never happen again, Dev mode is the only safe/ reliable way of having the apps
So everything works awesome! However, I have not ever seen the PlayStation startup whenever I boot a game up. I would like to see the intro & also be able to go into the ps2 menu. What do I need to enable to do those things? 🤔

you need to add the files into your usb folders for xbsx2 or do it internally. if you use my all in one folders it comes with all the covers and widescreen patches inside
Yes i would to be more organized , All the added files are just widescreen hacks i added into the widescreen folder, and inside the covers folder it has every cover
Both are basically the same. i personally use XBSX2.0 now because it the up to date version of "PCSX2" and was built for the xbox consoles AetherSX2 was ahead of Xbsx2 for awhile because it was receiving updates compared to the other but now thats done. XBSX2.0 is now up to date. if you ever have issues with a specific game, i will highly recommend trying Aethersx2 to see if you get different results but other than that. XBSX2.0 is the way to go :)
i’m familiar with this emulator but when i start my games it doesn’t start do you know what could cause it cause i have the 1st version of the XBSX2 and it runs the games smoothly with no issues

Mines doesn't start the bios it flashes and takes me back to the menu and i literally have all the files on my usb

I’m really clueless about the “game settings” and the “memory card” folder because for some reason I don’t have them
you can create these folders on your usb and then you would need to add the directories for them within the settings in XBSX2

@@ozzolim yes you will need to provide your own bios into that folder and make sure the directory is set up to the bios settings

go into the system settings within the app and make sure to disable "Fast Boot"

XBSX2 won't read my Bios i did exactly the same thing as everyone else, do you have any idea what could be wrong.
downgrade to the XBSX2 one instead of 2.0, 2.0 at the moment is causing alot of issues like that

Make sure when you start up XBSX2 , have your bios directory set up and then start bios, you need to format the 2 memory cards first before they work

you can set up everything internally, but you will need a pc or phone to upload the appx file into the access portal
