Definitely looks better with the stock trunk! It’s looking good! I’m looking forward to the start up 👍
Thank you! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Totally agree with the Bonnet (hood) and Boot (trunk) swop - so much better.

Chris, if you haven’t already replace that OEM exhaust manifold. They are know to crack and some crack early in life. MAP has a cast manifold that is really good. And it is so much easier to replace now that the motor is out
So many people are telling me this! Low key I’m considering it.. only thing is this car is going to be a daily not any crazy boost or anything do you think it would still crack?
@@ChrisGoorbarry yes they do. Definitely worth doing now and also inspect that turbo housing cause they are known to crack too. My son’s car had a cracked one. We bought it from the original owner who use it as a daily too. Definitely worth doing now that the motor is still out (hopefully still out).

I love this. I’ve owned a phantom black evo x gsr for almost 7 years and I recently started getting over it, sut seeing you get one and work on it/restore it has refilled my love for it over again. Thanks!

My favorite car evo x black
i wish you have cleaned it up with ice dry machine more smooth and nice Sadge
You should for sure swap out the turbo manifold and exhaust studs were it mounts rn that the engine is out 😅
Every one keeps saying the same thing! You guys are making me think about it lol 🤔
@@ChrisGoorbarry trust me you’re saving yourself a headache, and more than likely you will have to do it sooner or later it doesn’t matter how many miles it has they always go bad.
Watching from PH🇵🇭 bro❤️
Great video bro. About to do the oil pan on my 8 as it’s leaking. How long do you let the permatex dry before bringing the oil pan up to the block?
I do put it on the pan then bolt it up by hand leave it 1 hour and then torque it to specs bro
@@ChrisGoorbarry thanks man!
🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪

Wow she’s beautiful
Ugh u wish I could get your hood but I'm in va 😭
Already traded it :/
Sorry for the question, but can you convert the car to a normal gear?
Yes just not worth it a lot more money and pain in the ass if I was to keep the car forever then maybe yes
@@ChrisGoorbarry Thanks for the reply, just one last question. I have such a car and I want to upgrade the gearbox. How much can it handle the horse power if it is modified?
Whats a e7 jdm with factory nav go for? Did a belt 89km on clock
No clue bro
@@ChrisGoorbarry np bro valves kissed 1 and 4 damn sucks as I just had a new belt installed about 2k km ago
How do you funds these projects?
You have set amounts?
Yes and usually their investment but this one I went a little above budget 😓😓
