When it comes to the switch gear industry I know that many electrical engineers work in research and development and help manufacture the circuit breakers trip units. The advancements made in electrical trio units have been good the past decades. As for mechanical engineers They could be out in the field doing service work for existing gear or new projects. They could also apply themselves working with the mechanical machinery that is still part of the systems.

Can the equipments in the switchyard of 33/11 KV substations like CT,PT, CB, Isolator etc be classified as MV switchgears since their voltage ranges between 33 to 11KV..then why is the video only talking about MV Panels? Shouldn't we include these equipments as well ?

Yes. That part will also fall under the medium voltage switchgear. It is mostly outdoor and works the same way as explained for panels !
