I agree. When my Momma died, I did alot of cocaine and would get in tussles in bars. Really, I was a bully. I knew I had everyone I fought. I should've just walked away. That's the worst I've been. The normal me has worked in every type of hospital you can imagine, helping folks through COVID, working on a nursing degree. I've done bad things in my life, but I refuse to believe that that is what defines my character. I also agree, though, that it should be taken into consideration with everything else I've done. Most people have done horrible things in their lives. Hell I'm white I say the N word all the time while singing my favorite songs. Does that mean I'm racist? What? No. It mean's I respect the artist and genre enough to adhere to the written lines of a song. I'm a singer. I listen and repeat in my own way while keeping the words used. Call me what you want online, but I promise if we met and had a conversation, we'd get along like pecans in a pie.
