    Awesome video, thank you so much for creating & uploading it. Slowing down & coming to a complete stop/hover has been one of two areas where I’ve been really struggling (brand new player). This video has been a huge help, please don’t underestimate how many new players need content like this. Now to practice the tips & tricks from your great video.

      I really appreciate the positive feedback! 😀
      I'm glad it helps, helicopters can be a handful, especially if one is new or coming from fixed wing aircraft. Let me know if you have any desires for tutorials in the future though I might not be able to fly anything at all till after summer due to moving.

      It's a good practice goal! Just flying around for a few hours like this really gives a whole other level of control to the helicopter in my opinion 🙂

    When doing tutorials concerning power inputs and pedals/cyclic, you should really turn on "show controls" using right Ctrl+Enter, so we can see how much you move the controls around. :)
    Amazing flying though! Definitely adding this to my AH64 playlist! :)

      Thank you :)
      You'll get there, just remember small motions in the stick, practice just hovering with very small motions then just fly with very small motions. Once you start over correcting in a helicopter you're in trouble. Also, like I said in the video, just try and fly without touching the collective a few training sorties. Take off, hover at 5-10 feet and just fly around with that power setting.

    Question about the Thrustmaster TPR , Should i use any kind of Curve i Should implement in DCS for it or no curve at all !?

    • @wilbuzllf5057
      @wilbuzllf5057  Год назад +2

      Thrustmaster TPR have been called some of the best pedals out there, at least a couple of years back and they are still considered very good. I haven't used them my self but my friend loves them. I can't really say what you should do with the but I would suggest a slight curve, I set my curvature for pedals at about +15 in most modules that are helicopters or WWII planes. I have them at 0 ini jets. The reason for this is even though I have perfect helicopter pedals with zero centering I still want them a little less sensitive near the center.
      So yes, I would suggest you try 10-20 in the curve for the pedals and see how it feels 🙂

    May i ask you what kind of Hardware Equipment do you use for flying?

    • @wilbuzllf5057
      @wilbuzllf5057  Год назад +1

      Thank you! And thanks for taking the time to comment! The Apache is such a superb and great bird, I'm really falling for it more and more, especially since they added the ability to switch seats in multiplayer which means I don't have to rely on George to find targets though it can be helpful from time to time.
      It's also a "module in the making" which means we'll see lots of great updates for it. I'll try and keep the videos coming a little more often from now on, if life allows me 🙂

    • @wilbuzllf5057
      @wilbuzllf5057  Год назад +1

      Apologies, I missed your question about the hardware!
      I'm running a self built rig.
      AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU
      Radeon 6900XT Graphics card
      32GB DDR4 memory at 3200Mhz
      M2 SSD as Primary disk with DCS on, several other SSD's for other storage and software.
      Display is a LG Ultragear 38" 38GN950 Ultra wide (21:9 display, I don't really like the 32:9 displays, too little height).
      Virpil WarBRB joystick base with the Mongoos T-50CM2 stick, Mongoos T-50CM3 Throttle and the new Virpil VPC Ace Torque pedals (more like old school helicopter pedals and I can completely remove the center stop making the motion smoother).
      Resolution wise it's maxed at the screen resolution 3840x1600 and about all settings maxed out (think there might be one setting of so that I didn't feel the need to max as there was no visible difference). I prefer beautiful looks of flight simulators rather than maximum FPS, when I'm at the low end of the FPS scale I'm around 45 for short periods of time, other times, when flying higher etc it's 100+ so it really depends on the situation in DCS. Down low in the mud with cities and trees and units it's on the lower end but around 40 is still good enough to fly well. 40fps in a quick first person shooter would be bad though so there is a big difference between what type of games one runs.
      Hope that answers your question 🙂

    Its funny how AI AH64 can pull 160 kts with this thing.... ED isnt really paying attention to balancing the ufo AI fms.

    • @wilbuzllf5057
      @wilbuzllf5057  7 месяцев назад

      I think the Ai will get there but true, they do manage to do some magic stuff. They are working on the entire Ai structure though but I suspect they start with the more important stuff like airplanes and dogfighting. But the max speed of the Apache, according to specifications exceeds 150kts, I'm guessing that's a clean aircraft though.

    • @Ryak84

      @@wilbuzllf5057 i agree but right now there are some absurd things. Ive run a 2 ship of AI mig-29 (Ace level) against a 2 ship of AI mi-24s (trained, one above rookie). Result after 20x tries... 20:0 in favor of mi-24 ... its a joke.
      If they really want to introduce a dynamic campaign they need to up their game in the AI department.

      I agree that a dynamic campaign need at realistic Ai, it doesn't have to be super smart, just smart enough to abide by the rules 🙂
