I remember when they said they were related, I literally almost screamed because I loved this couple and I thought it was ruined , it was the first time in my life I wanted to spoil a tv show (I was watching this tv show later so them being not re,aged was already posted on the internet) and when I found out it was a lie I was so relieved
I read the books first and at the part where Jace says in City of Glass "I'll just be your brother. That's what you wanted right?" I started full on crying. I wanted them to be together so badly.
Once you read the books, it gets real complicated because for a while, a lot of us were shipping them even though we thought they were siblings. They even hooked up while they thought they were brother and sister. It was a mess.
I feel like even though these comments were made a couple years ago, you guys would enjoy the story so I recently I was talking to a friend of mine for context I have a service animal, and her middle name is Clarissa. I was going to name her Clarissa as her first name, but one of my friends was like no I think the other name you have for her is better, and it reminds me of the mortal instruments and that reminds me of incest and I go what do you mean and go Clary and Jace and I’m like what did you get to respond chapter 12 of book 2, and that’s when it started becoming clear I was like you know they’re not siblings right and they respond. No I didn’t know that and I’m like if you continued the book you would find out they’re not siblings she does have a brother, but it is not Jace. So now they’re going back and finishing the series. Lol.
this couple is so iconic i literally love them. its so sad that this show is over. im sorry but jace had the harderest time on this show. he deserves so much better

I love Clary and Jace they're like the best couple ever I would literally give anything and I mean anything to see another season they are just like soulmates I don't know if they're real couples in life but if they were they would be the best couple but I love Shadowhunters it's like my number one show of all times❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I love Clary and Jace so much❤❤❤❤ but in some Seasons where there's parts that just want to make me cry which I do cries of them where Jace died and then Clary wish that he could be brought to life so he was back to life I just love Clary and Jace so much❤❤❤❤❤ I wish I could be like multiple seasons but yeah bye y'all❤ # Clary and Jace❤
I think Season 2 focused more on character development. IMO, a lot of good shows I've seen have a season with less action scenes, some do it well, others not so much :)
