You know, I still struggle to hold anything higher than Youth. This is fuckin' rad, though. This feels like a more natural progression from Youth. Almost feels like they should've released Everybody Is Going To Heaven after this one.
Everybody Is Going To Heaven came out the week I got out of prison. In a lot of ways that album helped me cope with what I'd just gone through, and the year of house arrest and probation that followed. This album feels like a homecoming too, as well as a natural step up from their previous releases. This band has played such a major role in my life unlike any other group. Thank you guys. In-fucking-credible

Okay, so after listening 20+ times in its entirety I gotta say this is really good. It might take a minute to feel each song out but once you do ohhh soo good..try it.
I listened to Citizen Zero's "State of Mind" on repeat while preparing for the GRE's and doing my applications for vet school, now I'm listening to this album while studying during vet school!
They've really outdone themselves in every aspect with this record: Great songs, amazing performances, top-notch production (Good job, Will!) Now come play some shows in Spain (please)

After the last record I somehow was convinced they would stay with this new tune, but they kind of mixed the new with the youth-style in a way and I can only say I'm glad they did. The first eight songs, except for In the middle of it all, are such jams with really nice melodies and all somehow addictive. I couldn't help but smile while I listened to these songs in a row yesterday when I was out running errands and I was taking my time while doing so because I just enjoyed walking around and diving into these songs. The other songs on the records don't do much for me, but I don't care about that. Now all that's left to say is ... daaamn guys, please come to Europe. I really wanna see you guys live.
