I'm not a fan of FreenBecky nor have I seen their previous works, so as an outsider who just started watching this series and have read both of the books (and without giving any spoilers), I'd like to offer my opinion. This episode in particular came very packed so bear with me. Let's start with the olde brother, Prince Anan: I can truly tell he loves Anil dearly because instead of making a scene or showing notable discomfort towards Khun Pin (after the hungry kiss he witnessed in the last EP), I believe he's staying quiet because he wants to see with his own eyes and study the kind of relationship that Anil and Khun Pin might have, which might be quite troublesome for him despite having studied in the UK and being "open-minded." We might see him starring at Anil and Khun Pin in the next scenes as his way to study their relationship and confirm if they both truly feel something for each other and it wasn't a "drunk confusion" moment. Now Anil: I REALLY like Anil's character (and honestly, I prefer this version of Anil more than the one portrayed in the book. Rebecca is doing a great job). Though some viewers might mistake her kindness for flirting (and ignoring the intentional flirting she did with her cousin, Lady Ueang - that's for another conversation), I do believe she's way ahead of her time. She's very eloquent (the comment she made about the sharks on 4:28 - truly loved that!). She's quite outspoken for what she believes in, and most importantly BRAVE. Her love for Khun Pin is visible in all aspects of her being. She's undoubtedly devoted to her. I really enjoy their little moments. E.g. Khun Pin sitting on her lap and Anil attacking her with kisses. These moments add a lot of genuinity to their relationship and depicts their sweet side (they love each other in all forms; burning desire, desperation for wanting to be with each other, jealously, etc, but it's genuine love). Also, the fact that both of her servants (Pia/Prik) know about her relationship with Khun Pin is SO SIGNIFICANT because she's making sure that the Pine Palace is a safe place for them. She doesn't want to have to hide. Overall, they're just two women crazily in love trying to figure out how to love each other while battling their own insecurities (E.g. Khun Pin with her social status) and fears of outsiders getting in the way of their relationship (their families trying to marry them off). Khun Kua: I won't be the first one to say I can't stand him. He's been a red flag since the beginning but only has shown his true colors in the previous EP. He insists with Khun Pin even after she rejected him nicely and visibly takes advantage of her politeness. He's definitely dangerous so I look forward to seeing his mask fall off in the next episodes. Also, I'm not surprised about Anil's younger brother, Prince Anon, helping Khun Kua with getting close to Khun Pin since they're friends, but I wonder if we will see a change of character for him later on. SOMETHING TO NOTE: the way both Anil and Khun Pin depict they're jealously with their friends as opposed to someone they're not close to is interesting. On 14:15, instead of giving a death stare to Pranot, Anil simply says "you're not suitable her (Khun Pin)." However, on 14:35 see how Khun Pin looks at Pranot and Anil. It's different from how she looks at Anil with Lady Ueang or Khun Aon. Khun Pin feels threatened by Pranot (and I think the fact that she could marry him has something to do with that). Honestly, this version of Pranot gives me gay vibes (lol). And I'm starting to like the dynamic of Prik and Pia! Let's see what the next parts of this EP has in store.
It's so gross to watch. I liked the GAP series, but I was wary of this series because I didn't want to invest more time and energy into a forbidden love story, but Pin and Anin have very outspoken personalities, so I can tolerate it. They're both very good actors and melted into their roles easily. But it's still hard to watch, the culture of treating young women, your own little sister like a piece of meat to marry off (Prince Arnon is protective and selective, which I admire, but the principle is still off by a large margin lol) and eventually Pin and Anin will probably become so tired of fighting that they'll just give up and give in to man's manipulation, which is something that I'm not looking forward to seeing. However, Pin and Anin are very outspoken, so I'm anticipating their final battle will be truly fierce to watch. I'd love to see the princess put her brother in his place. Their dynamic is complex and pleasant to watch, but it's missing a component, because the Prince still sees Anin as a little girl to be married off. Sam (Freen) from GAP series needed OTHERS to fight for her and gave up so easily, so I really don't want this series to be another repeat of that mentality.

I’d love to see Anil talk with her brother and put him in his place. She’s very outspoken and brave, so we might see that soon. Based on the episodes and chapters from the book (we’re currently on book 2 in the series), I believe we’re approaching that breaking point part where one of them “gives in” to “protect” the other, but it’ll be intriguing to watch. My understanding, based on a previous comment I saw a month ago, is that they changed some of those scenes from the book in the series to make them (the ones where they fight for each other), more intriguing. So we might see them go all out to fight for their love, separate temporarily. Who knows. But I agree with you. I definitely wouldn’t want to see someone else do the fight for them. I don’t want them to give up so easily neither. I’d like to see that depicted differently from the book (don’t want to give any spoilers but yeah, referring to Khun Pin here).

Well, he is pretending not to understand rejection for a few reasons. 1. stupid #1 Prince Anon was so taken by him for his politeness and a few words of flattery. In the novel, his older bro warned him this dude is a danger and highly unreliable to the civil service. Anon wouldn't listen and blind to the point that kua was using office time to saunter the streets and have the audacity to invite Lady Pin to a party. A good thing Anil caught him in time and disgraced him for playing truant during office hours. Stupid #2 Princess Padmika, the aunt was bought over by kua for a few pieces of cakes and snacks. His mother is chinese so he understood Chinatown Yaowarat very well. He would choose the most delectable dim sum for Padmika's palate that the old fool couldn't decipher her niece's suffering at the very thought of marrying kua. She even blackmailed Khun Pin emotionally to get her to marry kua. So for flattery and cakes Anon and Padmika believed the cunning kua hook line and sinker and sold their niece to a croc to devour Lady Pin lock stock and barrel.
Kongkwan-Fon, Sam-mon, Lin-Kath, Anil-Pin all went to the beach but Freenbecky still can't go 😟🥲But one day for sure FB.. Maldives is waiting for you 🌷😌🤍🌹

Strasznie mnie ten Kuea wkurza. On musi być mega ślepy nie wiedząc niechęci Pin:/ Zresztą jak tylko wszedł od razu można zauważyć , że dużo osób nie było zachwyconych. Nawet Prik i Pia.
