  • A song Ken Mott and i wrote in 1992 at a point in time when we were both recently dumped by our girlfriends.
At that time we were jammin with Parnell and Sean Babineaux.
Parnell had a reel to reel 4 track recorder. We recorded a version of this with a few acoustic guitars, bass and a piano at “high res=double the tape speed” on said 4 track.
We then backup/ saved the recording to standard cassette.
Years later i found the cassette. Threw it in my tascam 4 track player and remembered the high res recording.
The cassette made it sound being played at 50% speed.
By now pc’s were around. I sped it up in the computer, and now being a more proficient guitar player i learned the solo Ken played note for note.
I would still love to record a full band version of this song with harmonies n all but i wouldnt dare do it without Ken at my side. To this day, i still think its a fantastic tune!!!
    Love ya forever, Ken!
Cheers to the good ole days, bud!
