We should, how the English say? One more time unclog our noses in their general directions 🤣
I see this as a good thing. It’s showing me that marvel is learning their lesson and changing up their approach to films by having a locked in script before entering production. Plus, these new writers have a solid track record, they wrote 500 days of summer, The spectacular now & The disaster artists
Leakers have said that this is just for touchups of the script. If you look at the leaked writers(Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber) , they are mainly romance writers, which make me think they are supposed to punsh up Sue and Reeds relationship. (They wrote The Disaster Artist, 500 Days of Summer, The Spectacular Now, The Fault in Our Stars, and Paper Towns.)
Damage control. Imma believe it when I see it. 😂😂😂
Here we can see how context is important. It's incredible how every news or rumor that comes out about the MCU right now means something bad or or worrying, even though it doesn't necessarily have to be, but if this happened in phase 2 or 3, everyone would say that you have to trust Marvel because they always fix their problems.
It’s both getting it right and troubled production just like daredevil.
But let’s hope the end result is great because that’s what matters
The scoopers who confirmed the new writers also said marvel were still using Josh's script and they're just tweaking the script and not rewriting the whole story.
There’s no reason why Fantastic 4 and Blade are struggling this much in PRE-production
This movie is obviously gonna get delayed to 2026
My excitement for the fantastic four is honestly pretty low right now. With no cast announcement still, I'm just tired of all the rumors
"Paralysis of Analysis". I am always very happy when Sean learns us new terms to discuss movies.
The most recent writer I've heard on Fantastic Four is Cameron Squires. He was a staff writer on WandaVision and wrote the Breaking the Fourth Wall episode and is involved in the staff writing for Agatha
Personally, I don’t trust marvel anymore. I’m excited for Deadpool 3 because I genuinely think it will be good but I don’t trust Marvel with anything else
I’m hoping it’ll be good and a solo Deadpool film to enjoy on its own…

Its looking like the MCU is the new DCEU and they're not even aware of it.
A smart move would be to hire these new writers to change the dumb ideas if having them come from a different universe and Galactus not starting with the Silver Surfer Norrin Radd. Those two ideas will tank this movie.
I hope they get this right, I just started getting into fantastic 4 comics and absolutely love these characters

I'm trying to be hopeful that all the changes that we're hearing about for upcoming MCU projects are for the better and that they are a postive result of the issues that they've been having, the poor reception and box office performances, Bob Iger's attempts to get things back where they need to be, etc. But I don't think I'm going to have a truly positive outlook on the future of the MCU until we get multiple projects of consistent quality over at least a few years. If Daredevil Born Again hits a home run, it will go a long way toward me regaining a positive perspective on future projects and same with Fantastic Four and Blade. And these projects are going to have be more than just "pretty good".
The new release for the MCU Fantastic Four I would expect is 2026.
Its about time we get a really good fantastic 4 movie. I think they definitely want to make sure they have dont it right since they know how many times they have failed
Hopefully they’re making Silver Surfer a man again. He was famously Stan Lee’s favorite character, if will unforgivable if they do anything different than what was on the page.

Fantastic Four gets rebooted every 10 years and none of the previous attempts were really successful. I hope MCU is still able to lift this curse unless they are cursed themselves now

They'll shoot with stand-in actors and CGI face performance and dialogue in 😅
As someone who really wants this movie to succeed (the fantastic four are my favorite superhero team), it doesn’t seem like it’s a massive rewrite unlike Blade but just some touches on certain aspects. I highly doubt that this will make the May 2025 release date I would love to see it come out either July or November so maybe switch out some of the release dates or push it back to early 2026. Honestly at least their makes some adjustments now before they start filming
I still think it's dumb switching from Kang to Doom.

No way this movie will be ready for release in a year...This movie is going to need SOOOO much post and special effects time to make it work, and it will mostly likely need some reshoot time to tighten it up as well.
Just bring back Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely for Marvels anchor movies. And maybe the Russos to direct. They clearly have the money to afford them

Well another thing is that if is actually talks about those cast rumors the question is that, should we start to realize that those rumors are just rumors
Rumors or not....the movie has to start shooting soon to release in May 2025. Even if we didn't have all the rumored cast lists and such, we would still be scratching our heads about why the cast hasn't been announced yet.
@@SeanChandlerPlusyou know the 2015 movie had potential and they could have used a different villain instead of Dr Doom like the Red ghost and the super apes, Annihilus, the Frightful Four, the Moleman or the Mad Thinker
@@srstriker6420 The 2015 film was just a troubled production They slashed the budget immediately before production started. SO they had to cut action sequences last minute. Then the director didn't respond well to the pressure. Then they tried to duct tape it together with reshoots.
A different villain wouldn't fix all of that.

@@srstriker6420 I think the first half is fine (a bit dry) and then it feels like they just didn't finish filming the movie. It's like an hour of first act, 5 minutes of middle act and then doom shows up and we have a boss fight. So it's a non-specific answer but give the movie a true 2nd act. Don't time jump over it.
I have less faith in this film than Madame Web, that’s how bad I expect the new F4 movie to be.
Fantastic Four is Scheduled for a May release, not February. February is Captain America 4

I already don't like the MCU FF after reports of making Sue Storm the leader instead of Reed Richards... race swapping of major characters. And I'm certain Disney will find a way to ruin Doctor Doom and Galactus.
