Jay, this is so Beautiful ❤ Thank you for sharing your tender thoughts about Mom. Great full she hung in there with us too.. She was a rare Gem 💎 for sure. I miss her so much… ❤
Interesting what you said about being unconscious focused and not divulging too much of yourself at first. I find that being unconscious focused does give one the ability to hide a bit more affectively than if one was subconscious focused due to the weaker emphasis on the ego functions.
Frank James on an ad before the video starts. Interesting...
Yeah I have no idea what that is but I'm guessing it's some dating app he made and he's marketing it across all Jungian related content
@@st3llarmemer111 it was the Ur My Type personality typing dating app.
omg me too
@Coach Jay it's happening, coach 😱
The backgrounds Jay use for videos are real, not some meaningless app edited backgrounds. I like it. I liked Joseph's videos also when he was in the car or walking. This video was very honest, I feel Jay about his mother, God knows what's in our hearts.
I'm an ENFP who is probably Shadow focused also ... man your testimony about your mom really moved me. You're doing a great job and I'm glad to see some content from an INFJ ... looking forward to seeing more! God bless you and your mom. I hope she's still doing well.
love these videos, thank you so much for doing them
Thanks for the video Jay! Great to hear!
Big love for your mother ❤️:") she's a hero in this world
The outside setting is great, as long as you're standing not walking x")
i have noticed you put effort into the location to be new, different and good lighting but i didn't notice the meanings behind them , that's pretty cool idea btw, i should pay attention to that later
lastly , it's never too late to achieve your goals or developing the subconscious, don't give up, you still have time :)
I really appreciate how you stage you videos. It adds a whole layer to what your trying to say. Abstract Se is very interesting.
It's also funny compared to Chase's Se demon backgrounds.
I never thought about it, the scenarios of Se inferior and Se demon, it really is interesting to compare.
I hate myself for using this word, but that shirt is fire
Wow. I have never felt more relatable to you than now.
csj: keeps his mentors identity a secret
jay: you don’t know me yet
jay ackley: infj mentor and secret enemy to robert bryant? 😂
lol
A few points about this video that crossed my mind:
1. I appreciate your video backgrounds - to me youre getting it right. I'm a fellow Se user (ISFP - shadow focused). Green and pink perfectly contrasting colours. Loved the under bridge one too. No offence to Chase lol but can tell who is the Se user.
2. For some reason shadow focused INFJs are one of my favourite types. You guys just seem to have a beautiful soul 🤷♀️. But I know its better for your own happiness to be more subconcious focused
3. Does anyone know whether all Se users can suffer performance anxiety or only inferior Se? Because i certainly do, I dont know if its the combination of Se + background type. Chase typed me as ISFP which I cometely agree with but at first he thought INTJ because of this
4. Happy birthday/mothers day to your mum. My mum is an ISTJ and i get what you mean about Si hero endurance and reminds me to appreciate it.
ISFPs suffer fear of reputation much more
@@D14MBK yes that makes sense actually. Maybe a lot of it is actually fear of losing reputation and fear of what others think rather than performance anxiety/fear of giving others a bad experience.
@@bobbyjean1581 correct, you wouldn't suffer to perform to a point even you rather enjoy doing it, also you know how to giving other a good experiences, you have all those tools in your sleeve.
But if i say to you that i think something bad about you, you would concern and usually want to confirm the detail or to make it clear to me that was not the case. Also you don't like to be told someone else what to do or what you should do.
@@andromaxbse6459 yes youre right and sometimes that fear of someone thinking something bad is cripling to the point it takes the focus off of performing well. Suppose thats why we should try and develop our parent function and focus on that firstly. I think back to when i was at school and really enjoyed acting in school plays. I didnt get much performance anxiety because i was playing the role of a character so didnt fear my own self being judged
@@bobbyjean1581 understanding type and cognitive functions is so enlightening.
And this is also confirmed my observation about ISFPs, that many of them entering their 20's who withdraw from the things they are actually good at, or at least potentially.. just because they fear it's not worth it, or being judged as useless, this mindset is cyclical and hard to break.
That's very unfortunate, because then most of them ended up prefer to not making any scene, just live idling and not become what great what they could've become.
The soft answer is " unwisely " and the harsh one is " stupid" , sad , but it happens... Things should be right and good.
You need absolute good to properly use absolute true. That why there is Ti and Fi users you need the combination of Te-Fi to arrive at something truly good and Ti-Fe to arrive at the right truth.
You're right, you don't need paid content in order to learn this psychology. Btw. I wanted to say you're doing good work Jay. Keep at it.
Good choice with background. Nature is better than city.
Have you considered stoicism as a way to help get into your subconscious?
Stoicism is INJs creation.
Thank you . I feel your pain somehow . Happy birthday to your mom.
I have an unusual cognitive focus, because I have an obvious subconscious focus. But because I have an ISTP father I have to use my unconscious to interact with him and get something meaningful out of it. So on one side I have a subconscious focus, which is usually what I use when I’m not around my parents (I pretty much have to put on a facade for them because we have a lot of conflicting ideals in terms of religion). But when I’m around my parents I have to be more Affiliative because of our conflicting ideals. Which ultimately means I have to use my unconscious a lot as well. It’s interesting how the 4 sides of my mind have had almost equal representation in my life, although I would say I’m more subconscious focused. I still have a long way to go before conquering my trickster and my demon.
My mom's dead too man I understand the feeling
I am an ISFJ but I don't think I can do the sacrifices your mother did, from your reaction it's more than clear that it was tough but worth it raising the 3 kids alone. Probably because I don't plan to have a familly at all and I want to live alone I don't feel that drive to do what it takes to take those hits. Anyway, thank you for your video and hopefully more content on the ISFJ's on the future.
you sound more intp tbh like i am intp and i can sense it
@@joni-nv3el I might be, but Intp's usually are quit smart, on the other hand I am quite stupid. Plus I love details and I am extremely meticulous, Si characteristics.
@@rumelingecristescu6046 no sacrifice no isfj, try again.
@@rumelingecristescu6046 oh so nvm i really value isfj you make the world better place i love how they gain info over there lifetime and can pass it to someone i have istj dad and idk he really hate me he told me when i was 5 years old i was evil person (still do sometimes) and how he dont want to be even a friend of mine idk i am trying to forgive him but it really hard for me i really dont know how someone can bring kids and not love them i think it sad to see people just bring kids and dont think about that consequences i am 17 years old
i wish i could make him understand me it really lonely to be XNTP in this world feel like every body hate me
@@andromaxbse6459 well, I do sacrifices but to me having a familly on my own is a big no for me. I like spending time with my familly and it's more than enough for me. If I spend time to someone means that they are really special, otherwise anyone can go to hell. Having to listen to my sister blabing is boring as hell, but she is important to me so from time to time I go at cinema ,etc. I choose to help my parents at chores 'cause they are getting old and can't work like thet did when I was a kid. I could very well have friends and do stuff like that, but I hate people and friends aren't real anyway and I don't need anyone to live. I am quite independent tbh. So I think I do a lot of sacrifices.
I've never tried to answer a riddle. What immediately came to mind is futile. The word contains FI, TI and letters to the word left (which is not right). Or maybe left torn... idk.
Happy birthday to your mom
Hey! I have a question. Does virtue and vice of my subconcious apply to my personality? I'm an INFJ
Yes, it does! It's although not your primary virtue and vice. Techninally all virtue and vices are applied to any being, since everyone's cognition consists of all 8 functions, just in different orders depending on priority within the mind, which defines the personality type that is expressed.
Cs Joseph explains this in at least one of the virtue and vice episodes - they are pretty long, and I do not remember which one unfortunately to give you the source.
A virtue and vice of your subconscious is your quaternary virtue and vice. Your subconscious is also part of the same quardra as your ego, so definitely one to prioritize measureing when maturing your subconscious.
@@martyrose4301 Thanks, it helps😁
What if you did a video just on tons of quick fire musings and observations of the types... For example most Esfjs I've seen tends to struggle with their handwriting and buff or not you can always see the muscles and tendins on an Estp and there is so much more. I can't be the only one who notices this stuff
Love these videos. Chase's system with a unique Templar twist! :)
You are informative at some points but overall, you'd be classified as direct
Hello Jay! This is my first time commenting on your videos here. Thank you for your raw outward expression of appreciation for your mother!! I too have an ISFJ mother (age 83), and my best friend (single mother of an 20 year old) of 12 years is also an ISFJ. "Self-sacrificing" is an absolute understatement for both of them. They know no ends to giving themselves for others (or things that they believe in that helps others). They are grounded and disciplined people, where INFJs like you and I can get lost in our heads sometimes. As Chase mentioned in one of his ISFJ videos about 18 months ago, they can endure the worst suffering of all the types. Thanks again for sharing!! Cheers, Jeff.
ISFJ is a mom type 🙄
The Obsolete?
Making this INFJ cry 😢
My mother is also Isfj and although her life is not so painful, I understand that they are able to endure so much. I don't know you or your family, but in the end, I think she is proud of you.
A mistake?
Ok cool I didn't realize the backgrounds were intentional, call myself an INTJ 😂 that should've been obvious? Then again, half my country looks like the last video you posted so I just assumed you chose a bad area and weren't aware that they were gonna steal your camera.
