I’ve never thought of this because I actually thought Omni mans reasoning for bringing mark was complete gaslighting. But in all honesty he actually saved him By bringing him there. If they happened to come to where Omni man was I believe he could’ve took a good amount out by himself but not all. After getting him and killing everyone else. They would’ve went to mark and possibly killed him. With them being together it made it so they made it here first without stopping to get mark. Now the end is a unexpected turn
The thing is though, even though Nolan could take out 3 Viltrumites with some difficulty, he'd probably have lost against all 3 at once, and if he did win then they'd just send 6 more and rinse repeat until he goes down anyways. His only shot at truly coming out on top here is if he trains Mark to surpass or equal him, then they could likely fight off further attacks enough that the Viltrumites may not wants to risk continuing. (There are spoiler factors going into it as well that I can't specifically mention.) Also, Nolan is genuinely developing attachments and empathy for "lesser" races and that's why he tricked Mark to help, because all the above only applies because he's not willing to just escape himself and leave the Thraxans and his new son to die. If he *really* wanted to, he could just fly off into space and become virtually unfindable (space is BIG), but because he's now started to care, he feels obligated to try and save them.
Some interesting bit of trivia. In the comics Donald was already a cyborg/mostly robotic when he was first introduced. Him having “died” in the field was actually just a part of his off-screen backstory that he mentioned one time in the main comic. So it’s interesting seeing it turned in an actual arc on the show. It’s one of the things that highlights how the original comic was much more irreverent in tone compared to the show, similar to how Mark’s reunion with his dad in the show is (understandably) far more hostile than it was in the comics (the greater sincerity of the show, is part of why I prefer its presentation of the story over the comics). And if it wasn’t clear by Nolan surviving having his back broken, both Lucan (the Steve Harvey-looking Viltrumite) and Thula (the one with the dagger braid-hair) both survived their battle with Nolan as well (despite their grievous injuries). Viltrumites basically need to have their brain or heart be damaged beyond repair to 100% guarantee their death.
@@sly_cat Yeah but sometimes it risks feeling like regular show/series plot armor if it isnt explained. Like characters take insane amount out of damge but only die if the writer says so lol
Yeah, I figured all those Viltrumites were fine. If Mark can recover from being disemboweled with basic ass US government tech, those Viltrumites being treated by Viltrumite tech should recover without issue.
It's struck me as odd that Thula went down after "just" getting her jaw busted, that particular injury is entirely survivable even to normal humans and we know for a fact Viltrumites have much enhanced healing abilities and durability in the face of injury. Even though she'll need recovery time, it really doesn't strike me as an injury that would *knock out* a Viltrumite like it seemingly does here. Also, speaking of Thula, what on earth is her hair-dagger made of that it can just cut up other Viltrumites like it's nothing? Was I the only one who thought Mark should've snagged it and brought it with him to earth to study? Give that thing to a speedster like Red Rush and he could run around folding Viltrumites left right and center, he was faster than Omni-man so he would absolutely blitz other viltrumites if he only had a weapon that could do the job. Also Also, did Lucan get impaled with a rock in the comics as well? Because it struck me as incredibly odd that some random rock Nolan broke off from the environment was durable enough to penetrate through Lucan's organs and skin to impale him on that wall without the rock just crumbling into dust instead.
Lucan did have a point, and despite everything Nolas said, he´s going soft. He told Mark to fight with the intent to kill, but failed to finish off a single opponent.
No, remember Allen and his gf asking why Nolan had a chilld if they are so fixated on blood purity? Viltrumites are sended in a solo mission to conquer planets but Nolan fell in love with Deby. He wanted Mark to help him not only because that was his mission, but to make the empire accept Mark as a viltruimite too
Just that about it. But that would explain why he was mad when Mark got his powers. He was probably thinking, "How the hell am I going to explain this"
Just a little reminder from last season with the experimenting on Mark's blood: Viltrimites resist almost EVERYTHING. If they don't die, which would probably take significant damage to something super vital like their heart, their healing factor should eventually fix them up. So, the old lady, despite her broken jaw, is probably gonna be good as new in a couple weeks. Nolan will probably be capable of walking again in a few days. Potentially the only dead ones might be the be the blonde guy, and Steve Harvey.
What’s crazy is even while seated omini man journey mirrors deb's journey as they travel aimlessly... Her through the city and him flying though space. They both compilated ending their own lives him at the blackhole and her on the bridge. He accepts that he can never go back to earth and she excepts the man she knew as her husband never really existed. tbh he did learn to accept feelings on some vegeta shit lol thinking the earth was a nice place to live and actually grew attached.
The theme of the episode can also be applied to Mark an omnimans relationship, the gross power dynamic and then the viltrum power dynamic with mark " Mark is the inferior in that situation aka like the fresh clone ." Being born and then being told you must obey because "I know better and i am better. "
So a couple things. Andressa and the kid aren't the only thraxxans left. 3 viltrumites didn't slaughter 42 billion people in 10 minutes. And also invincible being young doesn't make him stronger. Viltrumite strength grows with age(and inherent talent I think). So the older the viltrumite the stronger. Nolan kicked marks butt mainly because he is hundreds of years older(and Mark lacked training. Which something to be said about how well he handled the knife hair lady once he started to believe.. how powerful is he..)
Lol it literally is the same voice actor as Lex Luthor from the Superman/Justice League cartoons. He was also in Gen V as the principal that got burned up.
Crazy part is I'm sure the twins told Rudy back in season 1 about why they make sure neither one ever knows which is the original, to prevent this very situation. And yet this Mauler still did it anyways.
I hate the fact that it took Mark so long to get the whole he has fight to delife enemies that can and will clearly delife him and others that he love and care about lesson and then still tried not to kill them like a total idiot.
I like the Mauler twins but the whole thing is ignoring that both having the same memories would know if they laid down on the right or left handed bed l, and if you woke up on the other bed, you both would know the og vs the clone.
Guys the clones memories are continuing, both will wake up with the memory of poisoning the mangled mauler that talked down to him, the only way to crack the code is to mark the beds, red X on the original bed, blue X on the clone bed, so when both wake up with the memories of poisoning king mauler, and wake up with the memories of putting a clone body on the blue X bed, and laying their body on the red X bed and turning on the machine to transfer consciousness, both will wake with the memories of placing the dead clone body on the blue X bed and know whoever wakes up on the Red X bed is the clone who poisoned king mauler. I don’t think the writers will do that, they both will wake up with the same memories and argue on who’s the original and who’s the clone.
The cycle of the Mauler twins IS restored, BUT now every single mauler thats cloned in the future has the memory that they are in fact a clone. So every clone in the future will feel equal to the othet clones but they are always going to feel inferior to the original because now they all know they're all clones.
There was an ambiguity before; the original is probably long dead but nobody could ever prove that. Now they know they are all clones. Whether or not that matters to them is the big question
@@FunkatronicGeek Absolutely! Like I'm sure they often had the thought, "What if I'm not the original?" but were able to brush it off. I think you got right to the heart of the matter when you mentioned the important part being whether or not that matters to them.
Given how Mark has healed relatively quickly after each beating he took, it's fairly certain that the Viltrumite soldiers that came after him and Nolan survived, too. In fact, at this point, I'm convinced that not much outside of total obliteration can kill a Viltrumite.
They've known they ar both clones for a long time. Rudy even bring it up to them in season 1. All they care about is who is closer to the original, and really it just seems to be for bragging rights, because their cloning doesn't actually seem to degrade over time, no matter how much they do it.
i always thought the maulers' confusion about who's the original was flawed. wouldn't they remember which table the original was lying on during the cloning process? one of them would wake up and realize he wasn't on the same table he'd laid down on.
Side note - you all seemed to think all the bug aliens were wiped out. If we trust the last episode, theres billions of people on the planet. The Viltrumites definitely didn't circle the entire planet and kill billions of people in the time it took Mark to fly to that cave. They basically just wrecked Nolan's palace and the surrounding area.
They cycle will never be broken. There is no crack in the cycle. Once the new one is made they copy the memories in the new one so they each think they are the original. The only time the cycle was broken was when we had the phsycially deformed one
Viltrumites are purist, Nolan having two kids with other aliens is a no. Mark is forgivable due to human compatibility with Viltrumites but the baby crosses the line.
Mark's brother doesn't have a short life span, since he's a Viltrumite he'll age slowly but the Thraxan DNA will make him grow faster than a normal child. So he'll be probably be a teen in a year or so.
Technically a black hole is only unecapable at a certain point and that is where most of the strength is. For example the dark area is where it is at it's strongest and light is unescapable. The area around the dark zone is significantly weaker. That is why our universe isn't devoured by a black hole, because the area around it is much weaker so the black hole isn't growing at rates that worry us
I find nolan floating above the accretion disk and completely ignoring the heat and gravity of that area to be impressive considering that in the comics a surface temperature of a star is enough to burn them
Did he do that in the comics? Because the first thing that struck me when I saw that scene is that there's NO way in hell *ANY* viltrumite could tank being that close to a black hole, we know from said incident with the sun that even a peak viltrumite can't tank a sun for long, and black holes are quite literally infinitely more powerful.
Not quite there but much better than his fight on Earth. Nolan was right, Mark needs to train. And considering what’s to come, this was a good wake up call. After all, on Earth Mark got it easy, and he needs to understand this fact.
The clone that remained WILL know he's the "original", but so will the new close. So even though the original knows it, he can't boss the clone around because the clone also "knows" it. This is why there can't be any differences between them.
Finally caught up with Invincible and, while this episode's ending was insane, I don't think it was enough to justify Amazon splitting the season in half
Hear me out...the thraxans are pretty similar physically to humans. Theyre basically just like humans with bug mask on. And ik they all look alike but andressa kinda bad tho no? so i mean nolan ain't pick the worst option out there
Okay, real question. How the Fuck does Mark grow back his teeth? Can he naturally heal them back or does he have a great dentist plan? Man's got his teeth knocked out so many times but has fully straight teeth, perfect and all that 😂 🤣🤔
Crazy how well mark did when he actually went all out against a more experienced and older viltrumite especially because the older they are the stronger they get
Yeah I was about to say. Because even when Mark lost it, he couldn't even touch Battle Beast. I know he's a problem, but to land that many hit on Thula...I was like no way
No, he'll most likely live a thousand or so. No known viltrimite has died of old age, and since it slows down more and more as they get older some think they eventually just become immortal as their aging slows to 0.
That antussy goes crazy ig💀 Also, Omniman piping this lady, KNOWING she could get pregnant and that the Viltrumites were on his ass, and asking his other son for help is mind-boggling to me😂 We have a real Ryan and Homelander situation where we don't want the son to become the father💀
But your logic in the clone is flawed. Once his clone has all the memories it doesn't matter if the original remembers. They will both have the same experiences. And there will always be a hint of doubt that they are the original and the dynamic will flow. It's a safe bet to assume at some point this very thing has happened before and they forgot they killed the one who knew they were the original. Or they purposely remove the memory of killing the last one who knew they were original and this wasn't the first time a clone was able to have proof of being original and the one with the scars just didn't know because the previous times it happens they always erase the betrayal memory
maulers: how u create identical clone. 100% of yourself, there no superior and inferior in reality, there no physical or mental test that can prove that.. yet there was 1 original mauler probebly at the start.. and then there was 2.. and they toying with it to have the right to stand on its root of history. what im trying to say i understand the maulers argue about it but not realy the watchers... the maulers are the very same (dna).. there no superior and inferior.
As soon as he entered that room and i saw that the bug had boobs my mind immediately went "Wait he is not going to OH MY F GOD HE IS SUCKING HER TONGUE" lmao My man really said "imma go get some milk" and came back with a whole new family.
The only thing that bugs me about this show is Viltrumite physiology. They can fly by the suns and black holes, go to the depths of oceans. But as soon as they fight, they turn into water balloons. 😅
this episode really brought out how horrible and unforgiving of a person i am cause if i was mark? i’d have left that ENTIRE planet to get folded, brother and all, and then went straight to a therapist as soon as i got back to earth. would’ve poked my head in a office like “yo, you take walk-ins?got some things to get off my chest.” foh!
you might not have even reached that point. The reason mark ended up good and not a viltrumite soldier is the same reason reason he decided to help tye traxxians.
@@mr.protagonist5639 oh i think you missed my point lol i’m not talking about mark and his journey or about the story itself, i was talking about ME; what i would do if i were in his shoes. i get exactly what the story is doing but that wasn’t the angle i was coming from.

Steve Harvey is fine too they had him in some healing chamber
@@tightgrip Then he'll probably be back to hosting game shows before the month is over.
He was also darkblood in season 1, a lot of ppl missing that
Her: "would you still love me if I was a bug?"
My inner omni man: 😏😏
Gotta give it to Omni-Man bro doesn't waste time clapping cheeks and doesn't discriminate about it either lol
Lmaoooo
Omni-Mas was like "she does have a mouth tho" 👀
Omni-Man is canonically a furry.
Crazy part is I'm sure the twins told Rudy back in season 1 about why they make sure neither one ever knows which is the original, to prevent this very situation. And yet this Mauler still did it anyways.
The older a viltrumite is the stronger they are so it’s not good that thula was older than mark lol
But it does lend credibility to Mark's potential that he was able to overpower her after getting serious
I hate the fact that it took Mark so long to get the whole he has fight to delife enemies that can and will clearly delife him and others that he love and care about lesson and then still tried not to kill them like a total idiot.
"I love my dog" is a crazy comment lmfaoo
I like the Mauler twins but the whole thing is ignoring that both having the same memories would know if they laid down on the right or left handed bed l, and if you woke up on the other bed, you both would know the og vs the clone.
if you think about it, because of how fast the Thraxan's age Omni-Man could have raised an army given a few years.
Yesssssssss
Like clone troopers
5:39 Omni-Man is like give me that Thorax.
🤢🤮 Oh that's disgusting.
@@johnsantos507 🤣
@@nateisler3 No really. It's really dis-🤢🤮
@@johnsantos507 🤣😂 true but still too funny of a joke to let slide.
You watched end discussion?
Damn Debbie always going through it when we see her. 😔
Given how Mark has healed relatively quickly after each beating he took, it's fairly certain that the Viltrumite soldiers that came after him and Nolan survived, too.
In fact, at this point, I'm convinced that not much outside of total obliteration can kill a Viltrumite.
They will both be the clone and both know it. Which in the end should put them on equal terms.
They've known they ar both clones for a long time. Rudy even bring it up to them in season 1. All they care about is who is closer to the original, and really it just seems to be for bragging rights, because their cloning doesn't actually seem to degrade over time, no matter how much they do it.
Damn if she at least looked like the mosquito chimera from hunter x hunter with huge bazoonkas I would understand.. But damn, Nolan..
Lmaoooo
She did in the comics 😂 a lot of the women and some men like Lucan were nerfed
Or Mosquito-Girl from One Punch Man. She was a baddie
Donald said "thank god" because he was relieved to see he still bleeds red like a human, but then the bent knife brought him back into panic mode
i always thought the maulers' confusion about who's the original was flawed. wouldn't they remember which table the original was lying on during the cloning process? one of them would wake up and realize he wasn't on the same table he'd laid down on.
That's what I was thinking
They obscure the last, like, 15 minutes of memory when they basically copy-paste it into the clone to avoid knowing that info
Ohhhhh... So Lee was the Clone, and Director was the OG... It all makes sense now 😮 lol
Omni man cracking the bugussy
Got to love Nolan when he referenced the books. Read the books Mark. And then dumb butt Debbie about to throw them out. 😂
Mark can take a Thraxan ship back to Earth.
7:29 Lee you're wrong for that one 😂😂
Viltrumites are purist, Nolan having two kids with other aliens is a no. Mark is forgivable due to human compatibility with Viltrumites but the baby crosses the line.
Sounds about right from what I heard in the show
Mark's brother doesn't have a short life span, since he's a Viltrumite he'll age slowly but the Thraxan DNA will make him grow faster than a normal child.
So he'll be probably be a teen in a year or so.
Technically a black hole is only unecapable at a certain point and that is where most of the strength is. For example the dark area is where it is at it's strongest and light is unescapable. The area around the dark zone is significantly weaker. That is why our universe isn't devoured by a black hole, because the area around it is much weaker so the black hole isn't growing at rates that worry us
Isn't its gravitational pull still greater than that red supergiant that he flew by? At least from the distance he appeared to be from both?
I find nolan floating above the accretion disk and completely ignoring the heat and gravity of that area to be impressive considering that in the comics a surface temperature of a star is enough to burn them
Did he do that in the comics? Because the first thing that struck me when I saw that scene is that there's NO way in hell *ANY* viltrumite could tank being that close to a black hole, we know from said incident with the sun that even a peak viltrumite can't tank a sun for long, and black holes are quite literally infinitely more powerful.
@@officiallyjan8596 looks like an anime only scene
Not quite there but much better than his fight on Earth. Nolan was right, Mark needs to train. And considering what’s to come, this was a good wake up call. After all, on Earth Mark got it easy, and he needs to understand this fact.
The clone that remained WILL know he's the "original", but so will the new close. So even though the original knows it, he can't boss the clone around because the clone also "knows" it. This is why there can't be any differences between them.
Basically the new stabilizing argument/dynamic will be over who is the clone and who is the clone of the clone.
It was more than 3 viltrumites. Nolan beat a couple before getting to Lucan, vidor and thula
Incorrect. There were only 3.
Finally caught up with Invincible and, while this episode's ending was insane, I don't think it was enough to justify Amazon splitting the season in half
22:10 that's brutal
Hear me out...the thraxans are pretty similar physically to humans. Theyre basically just like humans with bug mask on. And ik they all look alike but andressa kinda bad tho no? so i mean nolan ain't pick the worst option out there
She also had bigger boobs in the comics.
Okay, real question. How the Fuck does Mark grow back his teeth? Can he naturally heal them back or does he have a great dentist plan? Man's got his teeth knocked out so many times but has fully straight teeth, perfect and all that 😂 🤣🤔
Like a shark 🤷🏽♂️
Had to put the tongue kiss as the thumbnail image. 😅
Had to put the action

Crazy how well mark did when he actually went all out against a more experienced and older viltrumite especially because the older they are the stronger they get
To a point... But Mark is special...
@@havok6280 true
Yeah I was about to say. Because even when Mark lost it, he couldn't even touch Battle Beast. I know he's a problem, but to land that many hit on Thula...I was like no way
They don't get stronger with age.
Only their aging slows down.
@@human3213 that’s not true at all, viltrumites age slower the older they grow AND they also get stronger
It is now cannon that Omni man fathered Thanos :P
Finds? More like invented
Mark’s brother doesn’t have that short of a lifespan. Don’t forget, he’s also part Viltrumite. Meaning it averages out to about regular human years.
No, he'll most likely live a thousand or so. No known viltrimite has died of old age, and since it slows down more and more as they get older some think they eventually just become immortal as their aging slows to 0.
@@marmyeaterExactly 😊
That antussy goes crazy ig💀
Also, Omniman piping this lady, KNOWING she could get pregnant and that the Viltrumites were on his ass, and asking his other son for help is mind-boggling to me😂
We have a real Ryan and Homelander situation where we don't want the son to become the father💀
They did not kill all the thraxans. Only a few thousand were killed maybe ten thousand
Facts
Nolan is different
As soon as he entered that room and i saw that the bug had boobs my mind immediately went "Wait he is not going to OH MY F GOD HE IS SUCKING HER TONGUE" lmao
My man really said "imma go get some milk" and came back with a whole new family.
nolan really tongued a bug in front of the son he beat the shit out of and whose mother he’d insulted just before the beating… foul.
Yup lol and Chance you’re still around ha
@@YaBoyRockLee oh i’ve been around lol i’m just a lurker; plus i don’t watch anime so… 😬
The only thing that bugs me about this show is Viltrumite physiology. They can fly by the suns and black holes, go to the depths of oceans. But as soon as they fight, they turn into water balloons. 😅
The original Mauler was a regular dude not with blue skin, they are all clones xD
I'm guessing they killed him for being the original, much like what happened in this episode?
👌👍
30:07 ,,your just the kopie of an kopie i'm closer to being the original’’ is what they gonna say
this episode really brought out how horrible and unforgiving of a person i am cause if i was mark? i’d have left that ENTIRE planet to get folded, brother and all, and then went straight to a therapist as soon as i got back to earth. would’ve poked my head in a office like “yo, you take walk-ins?got some things to get off my chest.” foh!
you might not have even reached that point.
