Visiting the Dharavi Slums of Mumbai, the largest slums in the continent of Asia has been an eye opener of sorts. The ultra rich and the very poor live side by side in the megalopolis of Mumbai and to witness the contrasts is quite mind boggling.
A total of 10 million people dwell and live in the slums of Dharavi which borders all the rich areas of the city of Mumbai. Let’s take a peek into the life in the slums of Dharavi…. The setting of the iconic movie slum dog millionaire as well….
