Love Super Adventure Island! Great soundtrack! the key to beating the final boss is to watch his eyes. when they change, he's locked on and will buttslam where you're standing. I'd love to see some Contra Hard Corps 2 player action with you guys!
It’s obvious the last boss jumps to your position. All you had to do was just stand where you want him to hit then move after he starts to jump. Love the show guys!

I beat Super Adventure Island 2 in the SNES a couple days ago, this game is awesome! One of the first Metroidvania style games I ever played. It stands out pretty well!

Please do a Little Nemo: Dream Master episode. Its an amazing little game by Capcom that not many people ever cover or even remember exists. You guys are great! Best Channel for gaming on the entire web, and there are alot of megabytes of web out there so you have the most MEGAPOWER of them all.
House of the dead Saturn (30 min game), Saturn Bomberman, Clockwork Knight, Gale Racer, Mr Bones, Dark Savior. Saturn games, basically. Or a Saturn racing game like Sega Rally.

You also missed the secret in level 1-2 right after the brown wall after the guy you hit through the wall.. you do a high jump and a star will appear to take you to springs to get an extra guy :)
Like you said once, Master Higgins looks dumb in this game and for some stupid reason that affects my enjoyment of it. But I really loved the first NES game as a kid and the TG-16 game hits all the sweet spots for me. Anyway, keep those videos coming, I'd love to see Dave actually being good at a game someday :D

Adventure Island is an adaptation of the original Wonder Boy arcade game, which was ported to the master system and had many sequels (including an upcoming one). The sequels to Adventure Island kept the original Wonder Boy formula whereas Wonder Boy changed considerably in each sequel. Bonus fact: The main character of Adventure Island is modeled on Hudson Soft's spokesman Takahashi Meijin, who was a bit of a celebrity in Japan for being able to shoot 16 shots per second in Star Soldier (which requires the shoot button to be pressed for each shot). In the English release he was renamed to Master Higgins.
we need a game where Dave turns into a stone statue and Joe has to traverse to 8 words to save his buddy Super game sack 64. i wonder if they can do that in one of there outro skits well you didnt finish the game i think is fitting if one of you turns to stone.
