  • A Visit to Mandria beach and the Village of Mandria.
Mandria sits peacefully on the Mediterranean Sea, 20 minute drive from Kato Paphos, Less than 10 minutes drive from Paphos airport and 40 minutes from Limassol.
All amenities are close, such as a supermarket, community center, postal services, small shop, kiosk, Elementary school, petrol statio.
Mandria square with its restaurants is a popular place to dine, sit for a beer or a coffee. The closest villages are Timi and Kouklia.
    Mandria Village a Unique Place!
The village is nice mix of old time charm and modernism that makes it a unique and popular place to live. So if you are thinking of relocating within Cyprus or moving to this wonderful island make sure you pass through Mandria and experience it firsthand. It’s a destination not to be missed. As you enter the village of Mandria, you are met with a shady tree lined street with large pine trees on both sides and citrus groves directly behind. You immediately notice how different this village is from others in Cyprus. The village square is still small but is usually packed with locals and foreign residents that regularly patronize the popular village taverns and the great fish and chip restaurant. Almost anyone that has stayed in the Paphos district for some time knows about the delicious food they serve and the live entertainment on the weekends. The growing popularity of the village is apparent.
Mandria is attracting a greater number of people because it is so close to the sea with a slower lifestyle than any other place along the coast and still has so much undeveloped sea front land. There are acres of land being farmed mandria-beach by Cypriot refugees who owned land in the occupied north. They now lease the land from the government to farm. This provides the village with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables year round. As you walk around the village the quiet roads, paths and beach front trails are surrounded by orange, lemon, fig and prickly pear trees in addition to potatoes, cucumbers, onions and even peanuts. Every year the village has its festive, annual peanut festival with lots of fresh and traditional Cypriot food, drinks and of course peanuts!
The village has numerous nice walking paths that range from hilly side streets to beach front trails. In Cyprus, there are not always paved paths to use jogging strollers or roller blades however in Mandria, although these things are a novelty, they are used by residents. Bicyclists often travel through Mandria and stop at one of the local taverns. You will see children freely walking and playing in the village and residents walking their dogs and chatting with locals. There is a sense of community and it shows through the pride of ownership the residents display in their homes.

Hi thanks for watching and commenting 👍 yes it often takes a year or two to adjust to the slower pace of life in Cyprus, and moving from a city to a small village can be very different. We lived and worked in Kato Paphos for many years then retired to the village of Tala where we still have a holiday home and visit very often, so different to city life in the UK (where we are based now)

I am back in UK at moment, and won't be back in Cyprus until Easter, but I know Mayfair gardens, it's quite a way from the sea front (harbour) and I have a video that shows a walk to the front from close to Mayfair. ruclips.net/video/N6kCkfxoqHQ/видео.html
