    I considered the Gold Monster, but ended up staying the course with my Gold Bug Pro. I find it extremely useful in all environments from mountain and desert to beach and even parks and tot lots. The other day I was cleaning up on targets in the wet on the beach at Ocean City, MD. That was a great surprise as I usually don’t do the wet, but now know I can. Great video on the Gold Monster. Very helpful for me. Thank you.

    It is a very sensitive machine. It will not miss even a small BB. The indicator left is for ferrous material. The indicator right is for nonferrous material.

  • @ol11zac21
    @ol11zac21 Год назад

    My vallon vmh3cs would have picked up all them targets it even picks up small stuff, so small I struggle to find/see it.
    It is a pulse induction machine so will detect/find all metal, it goes deep even on low sensitivity.
    Also can go in salt water I have found loads of stuff with it and you can pick them up for around £300 it is on the heavy side though but nothing a harness can't sort out.

Did you notice anything like that with the wood chips. Great content guys

    • @DigginSoCal
      @DigginSoCal  2 года назад +1

      I don't usually have a problem with wood chips. I mainly use park 1 and drop the sensitivity down to anywhere from 12-16. I find even as low as 10 is good in a tot lot since we are really searching for new drops. Some parks have mesh on the ground under the wood chips and that can be a problem. I have one park I can't detect at because the detector goes crazy. Thank you

    • @DigginSoCal
      @DigginSoCal  3 года назад

      Very cool... The Xtreme was my first heavy duty scoop and the CKG was the newest addition. I actually prefer the CKG. It is lighter and the shaft is not as fat. It is better for those long days and is way cheaper. The only drawback I have is the wing nut where the shaft connects to the scoop. It has some play and I am trying to figure out the best way to secure it better. I tried some all weather tape between the shaft and scoop and it only worked for a couple trips. I will try something else but not sure what yet. Other than that, no issues!!!

    Gudday people,
    Just remember this is a dedicated gold finding machine for nugget hunting. Testing it on a beach is not really testing it for it's real purpose, it's for the goldfields.
    The Nox however is designed to be a beach, park and all rounder. But like you said you had fun with it and it was a demonstration only.
    Did you get enough for a cupcake? You deserve at least one for your efforts.
    Cheers and happy hunting
    Brad

    • @iamshredder3587
      @iamshredder3587 2 года назад +1

      I don't think it's much good for the Goldfields personally.
      Least not the kind I'm used to.
      Not good for finding large nuggets in deep ground and/or hot and heavy mineralised ground.
      Being a very low frequency machine (vlf) and very sensitive I find it's much better for around creeks and stuff, shallow detecting, going over cracks in bedrock for even tiny pieces stuck in them and that kind of thing. Good for that. Even as a sort of substitute for panning to find good pay dirt to pan.

    • @DayTrader__
      @DayTrader__ Год назад

      It’s advertised as a all around just like the nox. It is a very sensitive machine and I believe if he had used the other coil he wouldn’t have had the problems he did. He was using the nugget shooting coil to hunt playgrounds and a beach. 😂
      Maybe I am wrong but what I have seen from other videos they didn’t have near the issues but I’m going to do more research because I’m about to buy one of these too. I have the Xterra Pro now and absolutely happy with it. I just want the extra nugget power this one is suppose to give. If it does and I think it’s going to.
