I helped a bit when we making this project. 1. What we couldn't track, sadly, was versitality of OPS, so Hungry and others were further down the list than they should have been. 2. Over Lifetime, the better players do come out on top. A great German friend made a video about this - Paluh, Nesk, Pengu, Kanto, are all fantastic, while Shaiiko, CTZN, Alemao, and Yass were up there. 3. The average age of superstars (age as in rounds played in lifetime) decreased. Players are leaving the scene.
Look at the ops mostly played by the top guys: mostly Ash, Zofia and Jaeger. All fragging ops. Then look at Pengu's most played ops: Hibana and smoke, mostly flex/support ops. His role on the team was more about helping the team play out the strat more than just getting kills on entry/roam. So for him to have played that role and still come out equal to a lot of other top players on frags, and even beat a lot of them in pure clutches, has to put him statistically at the top.
You can frag with support/flex operators, as long as you do your task. Many people use that "I'm a support" as an excuse but it is not an excuse for low frags. That goes the other way around as well. Siege still is a FPS and a certain operator main doesn't affect your frags.
@@PixXx31 I know you can get kills with hibana, I used to main her both before and after the bearing 9 nerf. But my point was that his gameplay was more centered around teamwork and support instead of entry fragging. Ash mains get kills because that's their primary focus and they have a support drone them into each room. Hibana mains are going to stay alive to either carry out hard breach or push a different flank. Hell they may even be the ones doing the droning. Post hard breach yeah sure, they absolutely frag out, but there's already been frags had by the entry, so you're ultimately just picking out what's left of the opposition.

Think about how hard it is to keep a team maybe changing 1 or 2 players thought for two whole years not dropping a single major or si . But doing it with different teams is very impressive. Both igls are good but pengu for is beast even in his last season he was doing well knowing he's going to retire
I think that in terms of game notions, titles (yes this is very relevant to see who is the greatest in history) pengu is the greatest in history. But in skills pengu himself stated that nesk was the most difficult player to play against (scrims and games).
Though Pengu isn't even comparable to prime brazilian fraggers such as Nesk, Paluh, Cyber, Muzi, pino or even Bullet. He is the better player no doubt he plays very smart has IGL skills and generally has done incredible set ups and meta shifts during his career

@@shadopulse5185 it’s because he sets himself up well where he doesn’t have to do anything insane to clutch. When he clutched it’s clean and not messy, which doesn’t make it as exciting to watch. A good example of this is Eclipse. Bro has been in pro league for years and is an objectively good player but he’s not memorable at all despite doing really good in many games. He’s just clean and efficient.

Pengu proved it in the biggest stage consistently. has played all operators and roles at the highest level. started with the first season PL win & ended with EUL Final win.
Considering that Siege is a team game and every role in a team composition is quite different from the other, I don't think it's fair to compare Pengu to Nesk or Paluh, or to compare Fabian to Shaiiko, I think it makes more sense to look at it from a value perspective (like the MVP award in the NBA) where you look at what a player brings to the table for a team and you try to imagine how badly they will drop in form in case you removed him, and from this perspective there are many players who can take your team to the promise land (Psycho, Pengu, Nesk, Canadian...etc) so there is really no specific name here to me, all of those players (and many other players too) are great and irreplaceable to their respective teams

Nagol yass probably will eventually overtake him, but he’ll still remain as a legend for APAC as a scene. From when it was a grassroots scene to a APAC PL and now to the rise of the scene. In terms of legacy, probably only Lunar matches his

Nesk is a beast, in NA a lot of people underestimate him, but in question, no other player had so much consistency at a high level during 5/6 years of R6S that's a fact.
you can even say that kanto was better and i believe that his peak and even his career was bigger, but better than nesk in skill, no one takes it forgets

He Co-IGLd G2 while doing that. He is the best clutcher, and he’s won the most tournaments of anyone in Siege BY FAR. He’s literally IGLing a T3 pub stack after not playing comp for a year and they are beating NACL teams 😂😂 Nesk on the other hand, has just been the best and most consistent fragger. Is he nasty? Yea, but the value he brings to Liquid is far less than the value Pengu brought to G2. Plus, internationally Liquid really hasn’t done anything. A single LAN during the prime Lion meta doesn’t mean much to me. Pengu is the greatest and there’s no debate.

How so? The Meta was alot more restrictive back at Pengu's height, especially for a support player. Now its open and supports can play more ops setups are alot more flexible. In terms of aim, everyone had caught up but I dont understand how you say Siege is harder now than it was before...

But Pengu always did what the team needed and excelled. Dude hopped on Ash for Invite Quals 2020 and Aced for crying out loud. Put simply because of his flexibility he is more valuable and thus the greatest. Sure theres more ops now, but specific to Pengu he hasn't even been retired a full calendar year yet. And new ops always have a quarantine before allowed into pro play. Accounting for that Pengu has missed 3 ops being added into pro play MAX and even then the last "event" he played his team won (European Finals online) hard to say that Pengu didn't play in "current" siege, or with many operators available, or wasn't still top tier when he retired. He could still be playing today if online never happened and he didn't move for his girlfriend 🤷♂️

Best player in recent (2021) Psycho) I think the best way to go is by titles, Because Siege is a team game, the best player has to work well in a team, and consistently. You can't carry your team to titles. There's are a few players to not take a final/major/invite who could make the Greatest of All Time list, but I don't think they can take top spot. And made a later final, so I say NiP. Very experienced roster, but Muzi and Pino less so. So it's between Psycho, julio and Kamikaze. People tend to brush over Kamikaze because he plays and old style support most of the time (Alibi on Coastline also for whatever reason) but I'd call him the best old style support going. Psycho the best team captain. And then julio, you can always count on julio. Eh Psycho is team captain and the most "fraggy" of the 3. Psycho best player in the world right now. Plus he won best Esport player in Brazil if I'm not mistaken. (Kinda rushed the end, final ended)
It depends, there was 2 awards, 1 made by exclusively rainbow six won by Palluh and the other made by Brazilian esports won by Psycho. Btw I don’t agree with ur Nip logic, I agree they have the best latam team 2021. But having the best team doesn’t mean u have the best player
Having 1 record in 1 game doesn’t make you the best player of all time though. CTZN is easily top 5 world currently but he is not even in the debate for GOAT

I didn't know what KOST meand when I saw it in the statistics but its Kill Objectiv Survived Traded which is an interessting number

i really do believe pengu is the most all around best player in the world of siege. he has a lot of plants a lot more disables compared to nesk or paluh he uses hibana, sledge and, smoke and just a lot of team ops other then ash, jäger and, zofia like nesk paluh and shaiko i really do believe pengu is the best

I think the best way to go is by titles,
Because Siege is a team game, the best player has to work well in a team, and consistently. You can't carry your team to titles. There's are a few players to not take a final/major/invite who could make the Greatest of All Time list, but I don't think they can take top spot.

In BR6 it went Faze-Liquid-NiP
At Invite it went NiP-Liquid-MIBR
At Mexico it went Team One-(eu)
At Sweden it went Faze-NiP-(eu)
The most mentioned is NiP, plus they won the most important of the tournaments (Invite). And made a later final, so I say NiP. Very experienced roster, but Muzi and Pino less so. So it's between Psycho, julio and Kamikaze. People tend to brush over Kamikaze because he plays and old style support most of the time (Alibi on Coastline also for whatever reason) but I'd call him the best old style support going. Psycho the best team captain. And then julio, you can always count on julio.
Eh Psycho is team captain and the most "fraggy" of the 3. Psycho best player in the world right now. Plus he won best Esport player in Brazil if I'm not mistaken.

It depends, there was 2 awards, 1 made by exclusively rainbow six won by Palluh and the other made by Brazilian esports won by Psycho.
