I lived in Nakano for 4 years while I was in Japan. This area (north exit from the train station), is as interesting as it looks. Many of the restaurants and drinking houses are small. But as usual in Japan, the quality is good. Just as important the atmosphere is great. I found the cultural atmosphere in Japan to be one of the most special feelings of all the places I've lived (Germany, Australia, Singapore, Japan). Culture really matters.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and I agree with you completely. Nothing beats Japan in any way, wonderful culture, overall honorable and friendly people, 4 seasons with a nice long summer, good quality food, etc. (and I lived in Japan for 8 years, Denmark, England and now Thailand (Bangkok) for 2 1/2 years and counting.) I've been there twice! Everybody got to love this place. It gave me "real" feeling because when I think of Japan I definitely picture a place like this. I enjoyed walking there, breathing in the food smell lol. It sounds weird but it's really really nice. Love this video
