What a fab video! I love yours and your mums reactions. My daughters are doing their gcses now so hopefully they'll be celebrating like you come August next year! X
girl samee I absolutely hated drama like DESPISED it I lit only picked it cuz my mates did it and if I could go back I’d pick computer science instead tbh
a 7 in English Lit is so good. I got a 6 and was super chuffed because I thought I'd gotten a 4 or 5 originally. my full results were... Maths - 9 Science - 99 English Language - 6 English Lit - 6 History - 4 (I didn't even do most of the 2nd paper for mental health reasons so was quite happy with a pass) RS - 7 (I was 2 marks off an 8, which was ever so slightly irritating but I'm still super happy with a 7) Citizenship - 7 (was also super chuffed about this one. I thought I'd gotten a 5) Drama - 6 (honestly thought I'd done a bit better because of my coursework stuff but I'm still very happy with a 6 because it's an improvement from my year 10 mock when I got a 4) Further Maths - 9
@@kaidoa1539 hi, sorry I'm so late replying to this but hopefully this advice is still helpful. The most important thing is doing past papers and past questions over and over again and going back to questions you got wrong. I think this was the main thing I did and was definitely the most helpful. I think the second thing I did most frequently was use Seneca, which my school gave us an account for. This worked for me but I've heard it doesn't work amazingly for others. Another thing I did occasionally was make a little poster about certain processes that confused me, like lymphocytosis, for example. I also used flashcard occasionally because they're quite quick and easy. You can buy big, physical stacks of them, which I did, so I didn't have to write them. TLDR: do a bunch of practice papers and maybe some other bits and bobs, if you have the energy.

well done!! My results: 9 english language 8 english lit (6 marks off a 9) 7 history (9 marks off an 8 - I was so disappointed in this) 5 maths Then for science and spanish i had to do foundation because the teachers told me i should but in hindsight wish i did higher because in science i got a 55 and was on 38 marks off full marks and spanish i got a 5 and couldn’t have done any better really
Hi Yasmine, I just want to say good job! I am so sad because I did triple sicmece bio this year in year 10 and got my results on 24th and i got a 6 and 2 marks from 7 I was absolutely gutted because I thought I would get 7/8. Since I was 2 marks off, do you think I should remark because I heard it's costly and I haven't really heard anyone getting their papers remarked and it actually happening so not sure T0T
Aw a 6 is so good!! but Im not sure whether getting it remarked is a great idea cos it’s expensive and it’s more difficult to find marks in biology than an essay subject.. But if that’s what you think will put you at ease then definitely get it remarked!! congrats ❤
bcs my school is annoying, we start our gcse options in yr 9 and at the end of each term, we get a report with predicted grades. atm mine are 8's, 87 and a merrit
I started my gcse options in year 9 too and we get a report at the end of each term too!! I’m in year 11 now and doing my GCSE’s (I hyperventilate every morning) but in my mocks I was getting predicted passes in everything except science and maths
Please how did you study for your gcse? I'm currently in year 10 about to go to year 11 and I'm already studying but I feel like it's not hard enough. So pls how did u study?
