I am going to be listening to the Bitches Brew sessions right after I finish this clip, this is fantastic, thank you for asking him about this. He plays on two of my favorite songs from the album,
You are an excellent interviewer, Scott. This Harvey Brooks interview, and everything else I've seen. Lots of BAD interviewers on the scene, but you are most definitely not one of 'em.
@@alldayvinyl You too! And PS: I listened to Bitches Brew, and I heard it in a totally new way! I focused in on Harvey's bass, which I never did before. And I can see why he didn't want to play with him afterwards! He basically just literally hits two notes over and over, while everyone else goes bananas. He'd be bored stiff doing that night after night. It made me understand the album in a completely new way, so.......very consequential, this interview was!!!!! Keep up the fantastic work!!!!
Yah agree - his audio was no good, it was best could get after messing with it. It was either not release the episode or get it out as is because we both took the time to do it and as you said, his story is an important one … if you check my channel it’s not representative of audio quality

Misled by title. I don’t feel inside the studio and I didnt get that I was with Miles.
I changed the title to more represent it’s Harvey’s telling of his time working with miles. Thank you for feedback
This is a very important interview, but the audio is barely understandable. Please don't release inferior productions like this if it can be avoided.
