Extra tip: Do not answer if any phone number starts with +65. Legitimate local number won't start with the +65 prefix

We have the same problem with this type of scam here in Norway too. Never give the bank details to anyone. The genuine police will never ask for bank details.

i was almost scammed once by some chinese police officer,luckily my parent were from the city they say they are based and i was like i will just ask my parent to confirm it in person at a police station,then they cant proceed from there lmao.Also gave up my chinese citizenship so i was like even i was involved in any crime in china they cant arrest me from china and i can just report to singapore police for stolen identity

I like to play with scammers. I can tell from their numbers. No gov organizations will call to request important details over the phone.
Sometimes I’ll sing songs to the scammers until they hang up. Or I’ll pretend to chit chat with them by pretending I’m a radio DJ and they’re a caller who just called in. ‘Hello, this is xxx music station, who is this calling? Hello??!’ They are usually very stunned and hang up by themselves lol.

Hello, everyone, please do be aware of calls with the “+” prefix, which originate from overseas.
Should you receive such calls, please do not entertain them and the callers’ instructions. Reject them immediately.
And also never ever reveal any Singpass and bank account login details and one-time passwords with anyone else, including family and friends.
Bur we can do a little trolling with them XD
Don't pick up the call in the first place.They never call again

In year 2020 ever this same story calling my house many time and nearly cheated my mum ..I remember I scolded my mum stop being stupid to get cheated..than another time same thing call my house but different countries , different number and different languages so I scolded all those bad word even scolded their grandparents and make them angry like hell .than after I scolded them they didn't call my house again ..they alway aim for elderly people so beware if our family members receive this tap of call ..they can use all different countries and different number to call you ..
