Just found you today. Love your attitude and how thoroughly you explain things. As a new, enthusiastic plant mom, I am seriously thinking about getting a few of these planters. They are lovely and functional!
Good morning Juliette ... Self watering pots, very practical when you leave for a vacation ... No worries !!! Great shirt, very Spring like ... Thank you for the video ... See you in the next one ... ✌️🌞
Hi! Cube 16 and Cube 14 have wick watering system but, if you have a planting plate for these models (www.lechuza.world/promotion/planting-plate-for-stick-systems-%28exc.-yula-plant-bag%29/19091.html#cgid=Zubehoer) , then you can pot the plant instead of dropping it in. Unfortunately, plates are not available in the US :( Thank you for watching!
Hi Juliette, I am interested in buying the Lechuza trio cottage. I would love advice on how to maintain plants in it. I haven’t decided what to grow in it yet. I was going to buy 6 of them to line my lanai wall
Hi Cynthia, These are perfect planters for your green idea! 🌱 1. Make sure to select the right plants for the light situation you have by the wall. 2. The watering process is the same for using Lechuza indoors or outdoors. Here is my video about it: bit.ly/3bWSmRs 3. Each planter comes with detailed instructions about how to assemble the planter for indoor or outdoor use, how to pot/grow plants. Green Luck! 🌱
Hmm, I thought that the idea of the wick system was that you could refill the reservoir always in the reservoir without waiting for the soil to dry, and the wick would just take the right amount of water without overwatering (if you have a very light soil with lots of perlite).
Hi! Thank you for watching. In my experience it is better to let the soil dry out. How dry the soil should be depends on the plant type and its watering needs. If you are refilling the reservoir as soon as it is empty and there is no sign of mold on soil or plant is not showing any signs of being overwatered, then this method works for your type of plant. May your plant grow happy and healthy! Green Cheers!

Can Lechuza Pon be used 100% instead of soil for all of the Lechuza planters, or does 100% Pon only work for some of the planters such as the smaller planters for like the 4-6 inch plants?
Hi Danielle, Thank you for watching! 🌱 Yes, the Pon can be used for any size and type of plants. Keep in mind that this substrate is heavy. When using in large planters, they will be much harder to move around :) Luckily, there are coasters we can use bit.ly/34YPCR4 😀 Green Cheers!
Hi Valentina, Thank you for watching 🌱 If you can not get planting plates, use the pot's original wicker stick system. There is no substitute for a planting plate on the market, unless you can make your own plate: Plastic circle with bunch of small holes and a piece of rope 😀www.lechuza.world/zubehoer/planting-plate-for-stick-systems-%28exc.-yula-plant-bag%29/19091.html#cgid=Zubehoer

What size pots fit into the cube 14
Hi Antoinette,
4-5" pot.
Thank you for watching 🌱
Would there be any benefit to using Lechuza-Pon in these wick-style planters, when using the Planting Plate?
Hi,
Yes! You can read all about the advantages of this substrate here: mycityplants.com/collections/potting-mix/products/lechuza-pon
🌱🌱🌱
In the instructions for cube it mentions to put a layer of lechuza pon on the plate before adding the soil. Does it work to put the soil directly?
You just use the soil without any Pon for Cube planters 🌱
Can you still get the plate insert?
