Great work! My girlfriend and I watch every one of your videos! Our favorite thing is when you try the bed or pillow and say it's "medium soft" or "medium hard" :) please keep it up!! Your videos are amazing and we love your humor
Thanks for the great food video! I had dinner at the Toriton near Skytree, they do indeed have a great atmosphere to dine in. You out plated me though!!
oh my!! I'm early to a new video! I've been with exams all week and super stressed. Your videos help me unwind. The sushi looked amazing, but I loved the breakfast sweets the most. Thank you! あなたのビデオは、長い週の後に私がストレスを解消するのに役立ちます。ありがとう!
Didn't realize Sapporo was so big . . . glad we stopped by the observatory. Don't know where you put all the food you eat. I thought everything looked delicious. I would have gone seconds on the desserts also. This was a wonderful food tour. Will definitely see you in the next one. Take care and travel safe. 😊
Where I live, that bluefin sashimi would be $20, if you could even find it without going to a major city like San Francisco or Los Angeles. I always hear about how expensive food in Japan is, but from what I’ve seen, it’s very affordable for local cuisine.
That sushi looked divine! I was looking at the ruby red color of the tuna, and that's fresh as it gets. With all those dishes I was sure you'd spent around 50 dollars, so I was blown away at the total. For that kind of quality, that was a deal. The pork bowl looked amazing too. Again I ask, where do you store all that food, lol!
I will never get to go to Japan. So being able to watch the amazing cuisine and the type of travel in this beautiful place makes me feel I have at least a view of this amazing place. Thank you for your hard work you put into the videos.❤️❤️🇺🇸
You did the right thing to start with the nigiri. My favorites are the salmon, the ikura, the yellowtail, and the sweet shrimp. I had to laugh, however, when you said you weren't that hungry at breakfast and then proceeded to eat three courses, and two sets of desserts!
It all looked amazing, but I think I'd go for the sushi and butadon first. Hokkaido is my number one place to visit in Japan, not sure I'll ever get there, but I can hope! Thank you for the video!
I'm glad I just had lunch, because if I wasn't so full, I would have definetely gotten very hungry just watching this. My mouth was still watering! I'm very fond of sushi, just fish tough, I'm allergic to several other types of seafood. I know that you are very fond of meat dishes, but if you ever find something vegetarias that looks good, please show it to us! My stomach hates it when I eat meat, so I end up eating a lot of vegetarian food so I can keep my meat realted stomach pains for when I don't have anything pressing to do the rest of the day.
@@jameswent48 Get a life...troll. Instead of trying to fix my grammar..how about you fix your sad, sorry life! At least pay your mommy some rent instead of mooching!
Hello Solo San. Long tie no eat. I was extremely jealous seeing you with all that food. My favourite was the Sushi and Butudon. I can eat Sushi non stop day in day out BUT; I MUST HAVE WASABI, SOY and JAPANESE PICKLES, other wise it is NOT NEGOTIABLE. I envy you mate. I wish you the best of luck, and we will catch you again on the end of another pair of Chop Sticks; eating what should really be my tucker. Sayonara!
Wow 🤩 so good video of great Hokkaido food 🍱, trip ride with awesome places n scenery that I always love ❤️ to watch! Japan 🇯🇵 is truly one of the best place in the world 🌎
The sushi looked amazing - and so reasonable! But I’d rally like to try soup curry. I’ve never heard of it before but it looks delicious. Thank you for taking us on your adventures!
The sushi was gorgeous, but I have never acquired a taste for it.Maybe fresh sushi from a master like at Toriton would change my mind. The butadon bowl for me please!
I just gained about 10kg by watching this video. The pork rice bowl looked the best. I thought I saw you order wasabi with the sushi, but didn't see it with the food. Were they out?
I just adore your videos, Solo-san! You are truly a human being after my own heart. You don't eat until you're full, you eat until you're tired. Excellent quality in a person, IMHO!
It all looked wonderful! I am always delighted that there are some food places that seem so small and yet are famous. They obviously do excellent food. I wish I liked fish.
Again, a gorgeous video STJ-san! I have a question, I cannot eat avocado, is there any possibility to tell somebody, or am I only able to avoid things with it? Because sometimes it is included in Maki straight away.
Do you remember the name of the place you had the all you can eat breakfast with seafood?! I'd love to go if you could recommend the name id be a very happy person 🙂
I thought the pork tenderloins looked great! I'm not fond of raw meat, so I'd pass on all the sushi, but the food that was cooked looked great! And I love how almost all Japanese meals come with Miso Soup. Miso is sssooooo good.
Those were some beautiful meals, but I hate what that inexpensive salmon roe represents to my friends in the Native villages in Alaska: empty freezers come winter. Their salmon fishing season has been shortened to one week this year because not enough salmon are making it to their spawning streams. They're getting netted by foreign trawlers before they reach the coast, so even sport fishing license sales have been reduced- and usually the state is all about the tourist dollars, so the situation must be dire.
Toriton looked awesome for sushi and so much fresher than what we get here in the States. I was right on the total of your bill ($36 !! ). Your scrambled egg for breakfast I thought was some kind of dessert pudding at first. That is the shiniest red bean mochi I have ever seen. The breakfast selections at the hotels you stay at always amaze me with their selection. Certainly better than anything we have here in the US! And the desserts! Wow...
@@STJfoodtour i didn't see any but guess it could be adding to the soup or maybe lightly on the wasabi? I might just have to try wasabi in regular miso/tofu
Don’t go to any foreign country unless you know the language. Nobody likes to speak English, and many of their menus are in the native language. Either get a translator or bring a friend that can understand and speak both languages.
"I'll eat small"
Famous last words.
Breakfast - “I ate a lot yesterday so I’m not that hungry, I’ll eat small.” Comes back with huge tray of food then has lots of desserts!!
"I'm not hungry, will have a smol bite"
Proceed to polish the entire buffet lol.
Well done!
I got to that part and laughed too. And then the refil of the icecream and another jelly. Hahahahaha! "small" indeed :D
Your appetite is enough to make an Italian Nona blush. ☺️
Butadon was the best for me. Great video - thank you!
The pork rice bowl looked delicious and so did the chicken curry....they made me hungry.
When you looked to the west I waved. Did you see?
Food looks delicious

Just had dinner, watched this, and now I’m hungry again.
16 dishes!!! They must have run out of plates in the kitchen. But the food did look yummy, so I don‘t blame you for eating so much.
Engawa! Yes my favorite!!

The sushi looked amazing! 😋🍣
I was wondering what they were saying... was it greetings to the people who were coming and going?
That's indeed what they are saying. Just to put a smile on your face as you enter or leave. I love that sort of atmosphere 😀

So so gooooood. Really enjoying your food tours 😋😋😋💓 By the way, the room price for a night was amazingly cheap and the hotel very nice !!

I really need to go to Japan…Im in love with this country
I am happy your older videos are coming up on my feed. Also, it is so adorable that you have to rest up for a sushi dinner. That is commitment.

This hotel has good reputation of breakfast . It seems like the great quality of cost.

The food looks delicious thanks for sharing n gives me an idea as soon I'll be going to Hokkaido. Look forwards to try your suggestion can't wait 😊
Thank you, as always, for a nice video. o(_ _)o What is your best tip for finding good restaurants to eat at? Do you use an app?
Google Maps helps a lot. I always read both good and bad reviews.

Ikura is one of my favorites.
The Butadon had my mouth watering, and the sushi was (almost!) too pretty to eat. Thanks for taking us along with you!
I love that tea cup from Toriton! Is there a place online that sells them?
I googled in Japanese but they don’t sell it

dude did they draw that menu themselves? how cute is that omg
Solo Travel Japan travels to Sapporo to order yellowtail from Nagasaki. 🙂Your belly sure got a work out that day.
I would chose curry soup and the breakfast every day.
How are you not 500pounds? That's a ton of food. Good for you 👍
Again, a gorgeous video STJ-san!
I have a question, I cannot eat avocado, is there any possibility to tell somebody, or am I only able to avoid things with it?
Because sometimes it is included in Maki straight away.
Avocado sushi is not popular in Japan. It’s easy to avoid. If they put avocado in maki, they would say “it’s avocado roll”.
In my next life I want to be this guy.

It was probably on the table for free. I didn’t notice it because I was focusing too much on sushi.

For medical reasons I cannot eat raw fish, but it certainly looks delicious.
I would go to Japan just for the sushi. Is language a big language barrier in Japan for tourists?
20-30% of Japan's population speak English. Of that number, approximately 10% converse fluently.
Don’t go to any foreign country unless you speak the native language. Nobody likes to speak English.

do you confuse green onion with shallot? Or do I? I yield to the most expert eater, Solo San, and that would be you!
The corn soup .
I would have paid over 100 USD for all of that sushi in Wyoming.
