Thanks for the video. Would you say the uv glue is essential? I would do it without cause i don't have a uv light.
Just the the black one around the frame. Greets

It won't look that good without uv glue and dust can come inside, but it will work also

Hi. Don't know what exactly you mean, but you won't see a difference in picture quality if you meant this. The procedure for the A5 is similar. Just follow the video. Good luck

CrocFIX thanks but I just tried removing the glass from a cracked iPhone 6 screen just to see if I could do it, I failed cracking the whole lcd! 😂So I won’t be risking the a5 lcd ! But I really don’t understand how you can get through the two glass with out cracking the one underneath, when I tried the lcd cracked immediately!

Hi, I wanted to ask you a question: is it essential to use UV light to harden the UV glue or will it still take the same (maybe slower)?

It is...but it will also harden under direct sunlight...but a bit slower

How do you remove the excess glue when it's hardened? With an exacto knife or?

Heat up and with a knife or small screwdriver and alcohol or other cleaning liquid

Is battery removed? Isnt it dangerous to heat screen to 200 degrees with heat gun?

At a safe distance for short period not. Dont get to close and on a same spot for a long tim...circle and keep distance...and do breaks

Because time=money, are you sure this is cheaper than replacing the complete touchscreen? What value to you put on your time? 20-30 euros an hour perhaps.

Why you dont use screen separator? what level of temperature you use on the heat gun because its more powerful than screen separator it can burn screen thank you

Depends...A glass is maybe $15, where the LCD is $70-100......so it's not just a fex extra $. ;)
