- Surprise! I churned out a video only 3 days after filming… don’t expect this to be a regular occurrence, I just felt bad because April only had one video.
Originally, I already made some of the pixel art assets for a different concept I had planned but after watching and subsequently only listening to NewJeans’ Bubble Gum MV I completely put that concept on hold indefinitely. I just was really just taken with the unpolished, nostalgic summery countryside vibe , so much so that I had to act on it. I was lucky that the art I made actually suited the nostalgic theme we have for today.
Fun fact: my cousin also helped me film the one and only ‘2000s losercore otaku vlog’ so I guess this is also technically its soft sequel? I consider this to be #3 in the ‘filmed-by-someone-else’ series on my channel. I was thinking of labelling this description as a y3wew blog. But what exactly is the criteria for that anyway? Word count? Tone? I don’t know why I was in the mood to write with proper grammar today. Maybe it’s to show that I can, since I only write in semi-lucid keyboard smashing most of the time. This was written before I finished editing so that’s why it’s more coherent.

Watching your videos have inspired me to charge my old, cheap camera and record some videos of my own. I keep seeing these highly edited vlogs that are fast pace and energetic where they do the coolest things ever. But after I found your channel it made me realize that you don't need to have these outlandish vlog ideas and spend 100 hours editing a singular, fast-paced video. Sometimes a fun little concept where you do simple yet entertaining things is good enough and I aspire to have your amount of vibes :D
