The tigress was in heat and somehow was interested in the leopard. While the leopard actually wanted to pipe the tigress regarding the size difference.
Wild cats tends to avoid injuries at all costs, when its life or death a leopard would die in the same situation but tiger would also spend weeks not being able to chase other preys due to injuries...So leopard knows the damages he can do and choose not to be bullied
A weaker smaller cat can save his life if he takes a submission posture like this leopard. The tiger did not attack. When the tiger came too close, the leopard took a defence posture by rolling on its back. This is the best defence for the weaker cat,. The stronger cat have to be very careful because his throat and vital organs are easily accessible for the leopard's claws from his four paws. We see similar events from African lions and leopards. A submission posture often stops the aggression.
That’s not a defensive posture. It’s a submissive posture. The cat on his back has his vital organs exposed as a show of submission and surrender. When hyena gangs attack a lone lioness, surrender is not accepted, so she assumes the defensive posture of butt sitting on ground (protected) while gnashing in different directions.
Male Indian leopards on an average weigh 60-70 kg almost as much as their African counterparts. Among leopards males can hold their ground against lions and hyenas in Africa. Recent interaction suggests that it may be partially true with respect to tigers. There's a recent report of a male Amur leopard killed and eaten by a Male Siberian tiger. There are videos of leopards treed and sometimes killed and eaten by tigers. This is one of handful of exceptions.
The thing is leopard especially full grown male leopard are not pushover, only full grown male tiger are capable of killing a full grown male leopard,a tigress can only kill a female leopard or a subadult male leopard, but a tigress can't kill a full grown male leopard,as the tigress is just 50-60 kilo heavier than a male leopard, such difference won't be an absolute advantage for tigress as leopard are fierce, agile and lightining fast,i have been to many wild life safaris, where the tour guide told many things about tigers and leopard,he told only male tiger are capable of killing full grown sloth bear or male leopard, he also told once there was a fight between a tigress and male leopard, where both of them died, first the male leopard died and then after couple of hours the tigress also died due to injury and bleeding
Nah, female tiger kills a male leopard 9 times out of 10. This just happened to be one big ass leopard, and an inexperienced, younger tigress who didn’t really seem to think the leopard was much of a threat. In fact with the way both cats were behaving, I can almost guarantee you the female tiger was in the male leopards territory. Had it been in the tigresse’s territory they would have actually fought. Not saying a fight with a tiger and a leopard will always go well, tigers risk a change of losing an eye or getting some serious scars, but if you put them in a cage and say fight to the death, leopard stands no chance
Wtf are you talking about? A Tigress can kill an adult male Leopard, and sub adult Tigers can kill one, as well. Leopards just don't usually give them the chance.
Obviously, tigers are stronger than lions. Because a tiger easily hunt a leopard, a crocodile alone but a lion cannot hunt a leopard, a crocodile alone. Even the Bengal tiger is smaller than the Siberian tiger, the largest beast in the world.
@obanojoseph6747 Newsflash: There's another video that shows that same tigress kill that leopard. Also, a tigress will absolutely decimate any leopard, male or female. Tigresses are just too big and too strong.
Tigress :" i wanna intimate with you "
Leopard: "i have a girlfriend"
Almost seems like the tigress was in heat and the male leopard was sensing it.
The tigress was in heat and somehow was interested in the leopard. While the leopard actually wanted to pipe the tigress regarding the size difference.

It is a submissive position a tigress does the same to a bigger male tiger, a lioness to a male lion and so on. @@Bhusayy-jd3ld

I think this tiger was in that leopards territory actually judging by how that tiger behaved
Sab territory tiger ka
The tiger isn't sexually interested. It's just toying with it. Wants to intimidate and dominate, before dispatching it.
That was a big male leopard and could have injured the tigress.
By gestures I guess the big cats know each other.
Average size male leopard. Probably 50kg! Big size would be almost as big as the tigress

Bullshit man, a female tiger is twice the weight of a male leopard lol, the leopard stands no chance
Are you stupid? Tigress is way way bigger and stronger than any male leopard species on earth. No way any male leopard can handle a tigress.
