I visited Ireland in 2010 for 2 weeks from USA through a Tour... Family Heritage from County Clare. Beautiful Country. Visited Shannon, went to a Medieval Banquet at Shannon Castle. Visited Dublin, hit the Bar/Pub area and visited Trinity College seeing the Book Of Kells. Visited Cork, Killarney (Killarney is really beautiful city). Stayed at the Great Southern Hotel a very nice hotel in Killarney. Kissed the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle. Finally went out to Dingle Bay Southwestern Ireland which was beautiful look at the coast line. We got lucky as the weather was sunny and had a great view. Only downside Dublin was like any Major City with some rude people. To experience Ireland you need to go out and visit the small towns where the Irish people are very friendly as advertised. I had a great time as I doubt I will get back anytime soon.
